[Read more letters about this article: Here]The only upside I could see to this is if Obama used the power to retroactively secure the phone, email and financial records of all those who collaborated on committing torture (e.g.). or profiting off the war they created against Iraq.
There are other examples. When the term terrorist gets redefined to mean "any former Republican connected in any way to the Bush Crime Syndicate" then things get really interesting.
