Major Panic In The White House

If Sara Taylor's testimony is honest, open, and frank, it is certain to reveal a cesspool of unethical and illegal activity in the White House. Congress must be ready to move on such information. Yes, the first Republican who calls for impeachment will be a national hero. A boil is best lanced promptly, as to let it fester is to risk septicemic infection in the body politic as well as in the body.

President Bush Has Committed The Crime Of Incitement

According to the Wikipedia article on "incitement",

"The offense overlaps the offenses of counseling or procuring as an accessory. Indeed, in the early case of R v Higgins (1801) 102 E.R. 269 incitement was defined as being committed when one person counsels, procures or commands another to commit a crime, whether (or not) that person commits the crime."

As private American citizens, Sara Taylor and Harriet Myers are no more subject to the direction of President Bush than I am.

This move has doubtless been made in desperation to conceal significant unethical and/or unlawful actions in the White House.

President Bush's action in this case should be chalked up on the long and ever-growing list of reasons for impeachment and removal from office. I just hope Congress doesn't wait around to allow the list to lengthen indefinitely. The Congress may have infinite patience with these scoundrels, but the polls show that the American people are growing restive.

Naw! Bush And Cheney Think They Will Be Vindicated!

Bush has been brainwashed (probably not a hard thing to do) by being constantly surrounded by neocon "handlers" and isolated from critics to the degree he probably honestly thinks the things he does are right and proper.

Cheney knows that he is serving the interests of an already wealthy and powerful elite at the expense of nearly everyone else in the world, but he is a Faustian character who made his pact with the Forces of Darkness decades ago and is obligated to play out his role as their servant. Likewise, Karl Rove has achieved incredible power by serving this same elite that maintains and expands its grip on the world by threats and violence. They all share a faith that somehow they are playing out a necessary role in the world, one that will someday be recognized in a positive light. Their continual arrogant and offensive actions and lack of respect for others is a sign of their perverted moral certainty.

The Democrats appear to be too "nice" to impeach either one, regardless of how much evil they do. As long as the Democrats keep fighting a gentleman's fight with one hand tied behind their backs and don't mind being kicked repeatedly in the balls, Bush and Cheney will serve out the remainder of their terms.

The elite that imposed Bush and Cheney on the world already has "front-runner" candidates in both parties that will serve their interests nicely, if somewhat less aggressively. Don't bother looking forward to an end to wars, mounting debt, injustice, environmental insults, or degraded national sovereignty or personal liberty if any of these corporate globalists shills get into office.

The Bush White House Is Has Now Committed The Crime Of Incitement

By counseling private American citizen Sara Taylor to defy the subpoena to testify before Congress, the responsible individuals at the White House, possibly including President Bush, have committed the crime of incitement.

From Wikipedia Incitement: "...in the early case of R v Higgins (1801) 102 E.R. 269 incitement was defined as being committed when one person counsels, procures or commands another to commit a crime, whether that person commits the crime."

We can thus add this to the large and ever growing list of criminal infractions committed by the Bush Administration in defiance of justice and the law.

Ron Paul, The Rightwing Lunatic

1) spoke against and voted against Congressional authorization for and all funding bills in support of the Iraq invasion and occupation.

2) spoke against and voted against the Patriot Acts I and II.

3) opposes all government programs that snoop on the private affairs of American citizens and would shut down warrantless wiretapping and Total Information Awareness style data base collection.

4) opposes and voted against the Department of Homeland Security.

5) spoke against and voted against NAFTA and the WTO. organizations that expedite outsourcing American jobs and increase the balance-of-trade deficit.

6) opposes and votes against deficit-spending budgets that put our government deeper in hock, with 40% of the national debt now owed to foreign nations like China.

7) opposes a foreign policy based on military intimidation and aggression, recognizing the deep antagonism this causes around the world.

8) supports the Constitutional mandate that Congress be in direct charge of the money supply, reversing 100 years of wealthy private banker control through the Federal Reserve System.

9) opposes the personal, but not the corporate, income tax, which wrongly intrudes government influence into the decisions that citizens make about their own resources and is a major source of stress. The complex personal income tax is a system of government intimidation that is truly broken.

10) opposes Corporatism and will work to free the government policy makers from the pathological influence of self-serving big money interests.

11) opposes and voted against the No Child Left Behind Act, with its perversion of the educational process and theft of local control.

12) opposes and voted against the Real ID Act, under which everyone in the country will be required to carry a standardized identification card ("papers") so that government agents can track every transaction and move you make. This Act takes effect in May 2008.

I personally support a national medical insurance program, which Ron Paul opposes.

If any of the "front runners" of either party had a program that was half as consistent with the values personal liberty, diplomacy, local control, freeing the government from massive debt and the tentacles of corporate influence, as Rightwing Lunatic Ron Paul, I might consider offering my support.
