Damned if they do?
[Read the article: The filibuster fiasco]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I only half disagree with the idea that the Dems are damned if they do and damned if they don''t.
I agree they are damned if they don't. But they would have to actually DO something before we could see if it leads to damnation.
It has lead to me leaving the party after 30 years of hard work, and money. This really was the straw for me.

Rove and the rumor mill
[Read the article: Karl Rove, Jason Leopold and the hunt for the truth]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]To Ms. Sequo and others who mock the blogosphere and hold it up against "real journalism" in the established press, I have two words
Judy Miller.

Think how we feel
[Read the article: Quote of the day]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Here is my post on his site:
Dear Mr. Medved,
I'll bet you got a lot of letters from women who were angry about your
characterization of fat women. But not
me. I get it. I know thousands of other gals who do too.
You see we have our own versions of gay NBA players or really fat women who
show up naked in locker rooms
for no good reason.
Imagine what it's like for us girls, when at a party or bar some slimy
little mustachioed man with the subtly of a
super size candy bar made of ex-Lax, and the sensitivity and discretion of
Dick Cheney's bird-shot tries to
approach us at a party. Well, it's very upsetting I can tell you. I mean
you know that they have a small (word you won't let me use on your site if
they have one that even works at all. It's just disgusting.
We girls handle it differently that the men. Do you wonder so many of us
are on antidepressants.
Really you can't blame us if we'd rather have a second helping of cake than
spend time with those guys.

I wonder, can I get a referral?
[Read the article: Inside the Creation Museum]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Who did Eve's breast implant's do you think?

Hey, you aren't the mom of me!
[Read the article: White House tells Taylor and Miers not to testify]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The White House is essentially invoking the "Because I Said So" clause of the constitution.

Cut it out.
[Read the article: Obama campaign: Clinton should renounce remarks]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Seriously

And this matters why?
[Read the article: Who among us does not love Ronald Reagan?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]What does any of this have to do with our lives? It simply bores me now. And that's a shame, because if the words they said made a bit of difference, this of all years I could hang on every one.
It's a pity.

The Charleton Heston of Prozac
[Read the article: Don't be happy, worry]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]From my cold dead hands!
I've lived with prozac and without it. Being on it does not exempt people from the full range of human emotions...it helps them not get caught and stuck in the lowest end of the spectrum.
I have never understood the sanctimony that goes along with resigning yourself to feeling like shit. I can't figure out the holy part of it.

Let the process work.
[Read the article: Dean: "We really can't have a divided convention"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I think one of the lowest points in our Democracy was when Al Gore walked away from a fight about who one that election. He essentially gave up the value of our votes to avoid a conflict.
I'm not conviced we've had a democratically elected president since.
I support Obama, but I think it is right and fair that Hillary stay in until one or the other wins the required delegate count.
Making a fuss over letting the process work it is a silly distraction.
