Original article: The dumbing down of the GOP

Kathleen Parker has changed her mind (surprise)

When I read Kathleen Parker's columns in another popular publication I cynically thought she was playing games ... setting readers up as Cons are wont to do. They love political gamesmanship and blindsiding voters and, readers.

Sure enough, her column in today's paper is filled with fulsome praise (all of sudden!!) for Sarah Palin's Freddy Kruger performance at the so-called ... debate.

When are you libs, progressives, Dems, whatever, often so cluelesss and soft, ever, ever going to learn to NOT even attempt to bolster your arguments by using (always temporary) opposing arguments from the opposite side?

You're and by that I mean all Democratic supporting writers, arguments should be always be able to stand on their own merits and not ever, ever have to resort for back-up from the manipulating comments from your sworn enemies. It makes you look weak and desperate to score your points.

Original article: First lady got back

It's Michelle Obama's choice.

She has freely chosen how she wants the world to see her. The rest of us are equally free to view her choices of attire and appearance and dress as we too, see fit.

For one thing, she's so tall she should break up her tall figure with jackets, skirts and trousers, and yes!! nice, elegant trousers with pleats and with those sheath dresses that show every bump and bulge, a jacket too. Wide belts don't cut it .... narrow ones do.

I might suggest the author stop being so defensive and stubborn.

When she was on 60 min, I saw an awful lot of leg, knees and thigh. And a lot of arms.

Maybe a wee bit too much 'flesh'? She dominated the show.

And yes, I happily voted for and contributed to Pres-elect Obama.
