I am hooked up to the Astra 2 satellite and CNN International, listening to the Prior openings at the Denver stadium. One Nation under GOD?.... yes, so says the Constitution!! America was founded as a 'Christian" nation, the Land of the Free.... Jennifer Hudson sings your Star Sprangled Banner, America's National Anthem.... it's all beautifully orchestrated. Nobody but a black girl can sing the anthem with the heart in the voice. I'm moved.... I hear my own kid.... when she was 4.... and she's not black. I hear the Freedom of the Soul.

However it's MLK's 46 years Memorial Day and I am not so happy with the choice of the Day, but I can understand. I thought the "greatest country" in the world was safe enough to cross the street in an armoured vehicle but with the constant hi-speed persuits on national TV of gun toting idiots in bullit proofed vests I fitted my daughters' humvees with a modified ECM system, similar to the Navy's but of a smaller size to enable them to leave their BP vests at home.
