I guess we'll have to start a petition to keep her OFF!!!

Obama will lose his base if he chooses Hillary for VP.

Hillary and her supporters need to deal with reality and start doing what is best for the party.

It is over. You lost. Stop acting like babies.

To Hillary (and Joan) from an Obama supporter: words from the Fabulous Pink -

"Go away

Give me a chance to miss you

Say goodbye

It'll make me want to kiss you

It'll make me want to kiss you

Go away

Original article: Hillary's final curtain

Go to Taylor Marsh and NoQuarter and then see how happy you are about Hillary staying in the race!

Hillary has created a group of women (and some men) who are so angry and hateful toward Obama and feel they have been so disrespected that they are making all kinds of threats. These people view everything that happened to Hillary as something related to sexism or gender. And they tend to ignore the "hardball" politics they used against Obama.

I was pained by each HRC "victory" that only meant a future "Superdelegate" battle. It was great to have a full primary schedule -- but the crap Hillary put everyone through -- demanding rule changes, promoting McCain's superiority to Obama, exploiting fears about Obama's values and patriotism -- took away any benefit of her "victories."

Obama supporters got angry at Hillary because she deserved it. Plain and simple.

it isn't over yet...

John Dean, another Constitutional Lawyer, seems to think that the new FISA bill leaves room for CRIMINAL prosecution against the Telecom companies -- even if it gives them immunity from CIVIL prosecution. Civil suits being such a Republican "bugaboo."

Did Constitutional scholar Obama suss this out by reading a sloppily written bill or is it an intentional loophole put in by the Democratic Leadership?

I think everybody should calm down a bit and see what happens...

And, YES, bills can be re-written later and MANY things DO change and get modified and taken out when a bill goes into "conference."

My own Governor Tim Kaine just came out for Big Coal; Jim Webb just signed on to a GOP bill for off-shore oil drilling. Let's not over-react to this vote our Presumptive President is about to make. Let's see how it all turns out...

But, most of all, let's "keep our eyes on the prize!"

Electing a Democrat!!

Isn't that what got us into this mess to begin with? The stuid belief that Bush and Gore were "the same?"

Are you all going to fall for THAT again?

If you do, you will deserve everything you get!!!!!!

Sports -- these women didn't get to play sports as little girls...

Women of a certain age -- didn't get to play sports and learn how to lose gracefully.

My daughter is a "jock." She knows how to lose and come back "another day."

Well, older women, you can keep being bitter or you look to the younger women and LEARN!!!!

In other words, older women -- get less mature!!

Original article: Is Ralph Nader losing it?

Selfish, single issue voters are killing this county!

Whether it is gun nuts or liberals, single issue voters -- or any voters -- who seek "pure" candidates do a lot of damage!

If you want a perfect Democratic candidate, you will simply keep electing a lot of Republicans as all the Democratic candidates fail their "perfection" tests.

Grow the hell up.

[And Joan -- for bloody once -- could you POSSIBLY write something that didn't have at least one nasty thing to say about Obama. JUST ONCE?]

@crooked_teeth

Biden and Edwards have both had their "spineless" moments: Biden and Edwards voted for the war. And, even though Biden and Edwards both repudiated their votes -- it would have made running against McCain problematic.

In the end, you simply CANNOT know how they would be handling things if they were in the same situation Obama is in right now.

Judging a politician's "spine" on one issue is ridiculous.

[And, I am sorry -- but Kucinich WILL NEVER, REPEAT, NEVER, be a candidate for president -- let alone be president of the United States. Jeez, get real guys!!!]

@Juliebird

It is perfectly OK to complain all we want about the actions of our candidates.

It is NOT OK to say you won't vote for him or her for president because of one Senate vote -- or to use a particular vote to say that EVERYTHING he or she says or does makes him or her an evil person.

It is also NOT OK to use it as an excuse to trot out crap that you have been using against a candidate because you were supporting a different candidate a few weeks earlier or because you are a right-winger trying to poke a stick at far left Democrats.

BUT -- WE HAVE TO WIN THIS ELECTION FOLKS.

Remember December 2000 and December 2004? My God!

Moving "Left" for the Primary...

Maybe you are viewing the problem from the wrong angle. Perhpas the problem is that liberals are so picky and doctrinaire that our candidates have to run TOO FAR TO THE LEFT TO WIN THE PRIMARY.

Then, when our candidates have to ACTUALLY win a national election, our unrealistic base gets so "stick-up-the behind" messed up that they stop supporting our candidates -- even when it is one of the most elections since FDR.

Grow the heck up!

Stop going after our candidates before they are even elected! Between you and the few, but vocal and nasty Hillary dead-enders, this is ridiculous!!!
