i've been a democrat since i was old enough to vote (1971) but i have dropped out and went independent. WHY? to many wimps and traitors and welfair wantabees. the republicans are holding back with the obama dirt, and will release it at just the right time. nobama can't win.I would have been more than willing to vote for obama in 8 years, after gaining some experence as the vice president. so I will vote for john mccain, as will most of my democrat friends. JUST SAY NOBAMA.

I just went down and changed from democrat to independent. The democrats seem very wimpish to me nowadays. Obama is a member of a racist, america hating church. (if you can really call it a church)If I can't vote for clinton I will vote for McCain.

I don't think 25% is a low estimate. What does party affiliation have to do with it. Can't you be a clinton supporter 1st and a McCain supporter 2nd. I am a hillary supporter, if she is not nominated, then I support McCain. It has nothing to do with my party affiliation, it's all about experience and national security.
