Hey guys it's 2008 and here's a newsflash--sexuality as a part of the broad spectrum of human behavior, from gay to straight to bi, is a function of nature and the evolutionary process in all mammalian species. If all men are created by a perfect God, and nature is God's perfect creation, then how could God have made a mistake in creating beings that are biologically presdisposed to sexual attraction to the same gender rather than the opposite? Another one of God's twisted tests of our human moral fortitude? Seems to be a God with a twisted sense of humor if you ask me if that's the case.

Have either of you ever read a biology textbook or any book other than the bible? Or are you just being purposefully obtuse morons? Yes the vast majority of human populations fall into the "center" or hetero predispositions, but we know for a fact that in utero hormones and a host of other genotypical factors play into ultimate phenotypes of which sexuality is only one trait. Generally speaking it would be an incredible feat to socialize someone into going against their biologically predisposed "nature" in terms of sexuality.

What most sane people are getting truly tired of is your dark ages view on human existence. Do you see any other Western civilization that treats sexuality as a civil rights issue teetering on the brink of social destruction? No. You want to live in the dark ages you have every right to do so in America but that doesn't mean you get to dictate morality for all--not that sexuality (assuming it's sexuality between consenting adults of the same species) should be thought of as a moral issue to begin with anymore than the color of ones skin, size of ears etc. etc. is.

Just a last point--read your bible and tell me how many things in the Old Testament were forbidden as amoral that currently are not. If the bible is the literal infallible word of God how is it that you are deviating one iota from its text in any respect (which I'm sure you are)? Which version or translation of the bible is the correct bible BTW?

the First Amendment doesn't allow for religious believers to engage in whatever behavior they believe is justified by their religious doctrine, like bigotry, polygamy, incest, burning of witches, physical beatings, . . .
