Thank god...

Iran forcibly kidnapped those British sailors. How else could the Iranians/progressives show the world how to handle conflicts.

Now all they have to do is complete a nuke and they can really show us how things should be.

Thanks...

I hadn't read her article. Tasteless but funny.

Thursday, April 5, 2007 11:51 AM

So...

Glenn wants to make sure that the sources are credible and not politicized just like Cheney wanted to make sure Wilson was credible and not politicized.

Felon = Democrat

Sounds about right.

Thursday, April 5, 2007 02:34 PM

DNC = Censorship

Sounds about right.

Friday, April 6, 2007 09:03 AM

Bud = Nonsense

The DNC wants to marginalize a recognized news agency. This is the first step in censorship that will get worse if they are allowed full control of the government.

Air America is comparable to Ruch Limbaugh not Fox.

You guys just can't handle having a news source that isn't controlled by the big three networks and that doesn't parrot the views of the dem party.

Saturday, April 7, 2007 11:27 AM

Should,

I use Rosie O'Donnell as the example of all the liberal viewpoints out there? Would that be reasonable Glenn?

No reasonable person with any real control over the war has suggested any of the things you so happily trot out. Not Bush, Cheney, Petrayus, no one.

All they have done from the beginning is try to limit the deaths and give people their freedom.

You are completely off base with this nonsense. In fact while I don't think all liberals are in Rodie's class, you most definitely are.

No crimes committed...

and people's lives are being ruined. Gotta love the "progressives".

And before everyone starts the slurs of me being an evangelist or some other supposed evil of religion, I'm an atheist.

I don't hold it against her for her religious upbringing and I certainly don't hold it against her that she isn't from Harvard or Yale. Isn't Bush from Yale?

Another...

hard hitting story from Salon. Please find out what was written in her yearbook next.

Original article: Iraq: Why the media failed

So...

the media failed because it didn't agree with the views of people like Kamiya.

The idea that the media didn't question things and that there was no clear debate is absolutely false.

Just because people like kamiya want to marginalize 9/11 and the deaths and destruction that came with it so they can feel safe in their limited worldview doesn't mean we over reacted or the media under reacted.

Anyone who doesn't know why we went into Iraq after all the UN appearances and endless discussions and coverage of that just chose not to listen.

Original article: In other words

Style over Substance

Clinton had no substance and Bush has no style. I'll take substance anyday.

Wednesday, April 11, 2007 09:07 AM

Glenn...

wouldn't it be easier to just pull some poll out of your ass showing that Americans think Iraq was responsible for the anthrax attacks?

Nobody ever said that of course, just like they never said Iraq was responsible for 9/11.

Feel free...

to attack Joan Walsh as a lousy writer, a third-rate thinker, a talent-free provocateur, or all of the above. But it's wrong to attack her for being a woman.

Thursday, April 12, 2007 09:39 AM

Saw you on Scarbourough...

and you looked like a fool. If Imus is wrong and should be fired then so should the rappers and corporate executives that support them. You can't cleanly seperate the two.

It's clear that the only reason this is worthy of your attention is because you hated Imus before he said this and now you see a chance to take him down.

You said that this would be a precedent setting event but as the black commentator said in response to that we all know that isn't true.

Once this is done you'll go back to your catfight with Michelle Malkin.

Thursday, April 12, 2007 09:48 AM

Joan...

what are your plans to go after rappers? Imus has been taken care of and since you have such a deep seated offence at comments like Imus made, rappers would be the next logical target.

Who at the recording companies will you be pursuing? How will you be utilizing the power of Salon to rid us of the hateful terms that can no longer hide behind the facade of entertainment.

Thursday, April 12, 2007 02:46 PM

Nice try.

You helped make Imus the big issue it is and stop serious discussion about important issues like the treatment of our military personnel.

No one forced you to go on Scarborough and talk about the Imus issue. I hope you feel sufficiently guilty that became part of the problem with our media.

Obama and Mark Benjamin deserve respect for keeping their eyes on one of the most important issues we face today.

So,

with all their is to deal with in the world the dems are going to spebd all their time on how the admin poorly spuns something they were allowed to do?

This is the best use of their time and the mandate they received in Nov.?

Friday, April 13, 2007 02:54 PM

Sorry guys...

nothing even remotely looks as bad as you want it to be.

Monday, April 16, 2007 03:10 PM

As with...

al queda, saddam, north korea, hammas, iran. The person who did this horrible thing isn't the problem.

It's all Bush's fault. At least that's what salon and other nuts need you to believe.

I don't own a gun, but people who do have no responsibility for this. Only the shooter does. To suggest otherwise is purely political and equal to Imus' tastelessness.

Tuesday, April 17, 2007 12:38 PM

People...

who liked her still like her and people who didn't still don't. You really blew the cover off this one Glenn.

So now we know that the public doesn't, and hasn't, blindly followed the media.

Wednesday, April 18, 2007 11:28 AM
Original article: From Blacksburg to Baghdad

Probably as much coverage...

as Salon gives to the perpetrators of the events. You really are transparent in your utter hatred for Bush. It's so intense that you don't even see the people that are the villians.

Wednesday, April 18, 2007 01:04 PM

I bet...

you all wouldn't have a problem with a national database that tracked everyone who bought a gun.
