An artist does what the artist does because this is what the artist must do.

It is not for money, not for fame, it might be nice to make a living from it, but all that is besides the point.

I like the style. I think these would sell, no matter who painted them, but for in the $400 to $1000 range. They are way better than a lot of stuff I see even at the university level, even stuff I see in galleries. These paintings have style, texture, depth, good color choices, strong composition, movement, energy.

The largest one I saw on the web site is 48X60 - 4 feet by 6 feet. It is difficult for almost ANYBODY to fill that kind of space with ANY paint in ANY style with a brush that small. And I counted 40 works.

To do that much work in 2 years an artist has to really ATTACK canvas after canvas.

Yeah, I would have to see a 2, 3, or 4 year old do it to believe it.

Too bad, because even if the dad did it alone I think it would be good stuff. It just would not be $10,000 stuff.

1) Re: Global Warming: Yes, there may be other causes than ONLY human consumption CONTRIBUTING to global warming, but it is NOT an either or thing. Put it another way, what is the down side of assuming humans are contributing to a natural cycle, then try to modify the human contribution? A few bucks? Sorry, but I am not one of these "Every penny spent must be for something that is 100% proven" guys. I just saw a mag that said Condi gave some encouragement to Donna Brazil, who was hospitalized for some tests. I was shocked. I generally think Condi is worthless (or worse), but in this case I give her credit for being a decent human being. Good for you, Condi.
