Original article: The Islamists are coming

"Lose and fall under Islamic Law"???

Does this guy have ANY faith in America?

Gee, fear really does rule this gutless bozo.

But, then, that is true of any of the Neocons.

Romney:

GOP Idea machine is bankrupt

That is why they focus on Obama's name.

The GOP just does not have any new ideas. And their old ones are clearly not working.

Friday, August 17, 2007 03:16 PM

I would be amused

If someone dressed a chimp like Walker, Texas Ranger.

Tuesday, August 21, 2007 10:15 PM

Comments on Jonah Goldberg are unfair

Goldberg NEVER gets ANYTHING right.

To expect him to comprehend an issue as complex as this is a totally unrealistic expectation.

Tuesday, August 21, 2007 10:20 PM

What should the Dems do?

Impeach Bush, Cheney and Gonzo, and watch their ratings go up.

Wednesday, August 22, 2007 11:17 AM

Drugs...Lots of Drugs

Whatever Drugs Bush is taking, they are WAAAAAYYYY better than anything the psychiatric hospitals have.

Wednesday, August 22, 2007 01:44 PM

If there ever was proof

The National Enquirer has been allegating for months that Bush is back to imbibing mass quantities of alcohol.

Is there any doubt?

Wednesday, August 22, 2007 01:47 PM

I am also for jail time

For traitorous Chief (and Vice Chief) Executives of any country.

Also for their corrupt Attorney Generals.

RE: ABC

Why doesn't ABC hire some reputable News agency to check their stories?

But, then, that is not what they are really about, is it.

ABC exists just to validate the Bush Administration.

Original article: "Look! A shiny object!"

my favorite

"Bring Integrity Back to the White House"

Sunday, August 26, 2007 05:33 PM

I haven't the time to read through them all

Has anyone mentioned, "Bring Integrity Back to the White House"?

Sunday, August 26, 2007 05:38 PM

All we are saying is

GIVE WAR A CHANCE

Monday, August 27, 2007 08:18 AM

THANK YOU, GLENN

Again.

I appreciate the thoroughness with which you update your stories. Including the message from Mr. Zelikow was certainly fair, and more than fair by modern MSM standards.

BTW, why on EARTH should I believe anything Mr. Zelikow says? His message may be literally true, but the way he parses his phrases is very Alberto-Gonzales-like.

Mr. Zelikow does not seem like a person to be taken at face value. And BGR seems like a company willing to sell out America for what they can get.

Only in America

More Americans dead. More Iraqis dead. Sunnis out of the government.

THE SURGE IS WORKING!!!

Original article: Quote of the Day

Why on EARTH

would ANYONE believe this liar, or his lying boss? Lying is what they do.

Wednesday, August 29, 2007 12:48 PM

Better Days?

Because, after two years, the White House can't think of any ways to make it worse?

Friday, August 31, 2007 01:14 PM

"But shouldn't they actually commit a crime instead of intimating one before they are subject to the justice system?"

Conspiracy to commit murder is a felony. Consparicy to commit acts of terror is a felony.

Conspiracy to have sex in a public place is a misdemenor.

Seems fair to me.

And it is not about sexual orientation. It is about being a pervert and soliciting sex in public places. If someone, male or female, was touching me in a public place, I would want that person stopped.

Friday, August 31, 2007 01:38 PM

Craig should not resign

If the people of Idaho WANT a hypocritical, lying pervert to represent them, as they have so chosen many times in the past, then that is whom should represent them.

As a liberal, I am enjoying the show.

As the interviewing officer said, "No wonder the country is going down the tubes."

For the Husband

I have gone all over the world. I do as local customs request, not because I have any particular belief, but because I believe in being a good guest. It is about respect for others when I go to their house as a guest.

Americans are notorious all over the world for being self-centered, arrogant and disrespectful for others. His actions are just another example.

When in ept, do as the Eptians.

"How wrong does a political cliche have to become before our pundit class stops repeating it?"

Right or Wrong have no connection to what pundits write.

See "Bill Kristol" (or perhaps Weakly Standard) and "Jonah Goldberg" (or perhaps National Review)

Original article: Opus

Regarding the headress

I worked in Malaysia where many women wore very colorful headresses, some much more colorful and flower-y than depicted in this cartoon. I asked some of the Muslim women I worked with about this, and they said the all black ones were boring.

And thanks lots for printing this. I enjoyed it very much. To have Opus censored is a travesty. MSM gutlessness shows me that the terrorists (meaning both Al Qaeda and the GOP) are winning.

I respect Karl Rove

like a respect an insane chimp with a loaded automatic weapon in a small room

Wednesday, September 5, 2007 01:02 PM

GOP = Do as I say, not as I do.

So?

Patraeus: Best Military Tradition

As Duncan Hunter said.

A lot like Secretary of State Colin Powell in front of the UN.

These liars will say anything Bush tells them to.

Tuesday, September 11, 2007 07:21 AM

Bush's Charm, his Certainty, his Confidence

Comes from his fanaticism. He is a mindless, unthinking fanatic.

And the more the facts are against him, the more effort he puts into his cause - the mark of a true fanatic.

Tuesday, September 11, 2007 01:59 PM

Mr Lieberman

Unthinking fear rules your a$$.

Original article: Priorities

I think I will send more money to MoveOn

I am not generally pleased with what they do, but somebody must stand up to these lies.

Wednesday, September 12, 2007 07:37 AM

Patraeus was SOOOoooo SURPRISED....

That he told the truth.

After he had a Larry Craig-ian moment to have Bush manipulate his brain, he came up with the Administration answer.

Thursday, September 13, 2007 02:09 PM

What a crock

And MSM journalists actually subject themselves to this rubbish?

No wonder our country is going down the tubes.

If I was a terrorist I would be emboldened by

"Are we making America safer?"

"I don't know".

Saturday, September 15, 2007 02:48 PM

Fear rules

Fear of Muslims. Fear of Christians.

Fear of what might happen if we leave Iraq (like that would be a whole lot worse than what is happening now).

The US will waste blood and treasure nuturing those fears.

Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda are definitely winning.

Monday, September 17, 2007 08:40 AM

Time off for troops

Nobody wants the soldiers to have a miserable time at home with their nagging wives and whiny children.

We need to support them by putting them in the field, as they have constantly asked for, where they will be shot at and bombed, like patriotic Americans defending the Iraqi right to kill other Iraqis.

And for what? As our noble commander, Gen Patreaus has clearly stated, "I don't know."

Monday, September 17, 2007 10:20 AM

And I used to think McCain was OK

The last couple years have shown me he is no better than most politicians.

Too bad.

Monday, September 17, 2007 01:53 PM

What I would like to see

Is Mukasey blowing the whistle on anything the Bush Administration has done that is truly unconstitutional. I have a little conspiracy theory of my own that the reason the Bush WH is so secretive is that they have been breaking the law (or at least REALLY stretching it) and they know it.

Well, we all have our fantasies.
