Original article: Crazy time

What to do? Donate time and/or money.

I just came back from my first session as a campaign volunteer.

Palin is smarter, tougher and more ruthless than me. I admit it.

The GOP will do anything to win.

But will fight for my family against Palin/McCain until this thing is over.

Time to work

I just came back from my first session as a campaign volunteer.

Palin is smarter, tougher and more ruthless than me.

The GOP will do anything to win.

But will fight for my family against Palin/McCain until this thing is over.

If you want to win this time, fight for it.

No Complacency

I am not taking anything for granted. Today I worked my first session in a political campaign ever. I will donate more time in the future.

The GOP is smart, tough and totally Ruthless. Maybe they will win. But I will donate my time and money until this election is finished. I am fighting for my family, and they will have to take it from me.

Fighting Back

Today I did my first session working ever for a political campaign.

The GOP is out to destroy the country by lining their pockets at the expense of the American people. This is plain. They have no plan, no ability to govern, no sense of morality.

The GOP is smarter, tougher, and more RUTHLESS than I can ever be. But I will fight for my family with my time and my money until this election is finished.

What a fool you are.

this is why I do not read your moronic column.

@Ann45

This issue is not for the bridge or not. The issue is being so willing to lie for something for political gain. Then lie about it again, and again and again. Then after the lie is pointed out and exposed, lying about it more.

This is her character. This is how she became Governor over all odds.

She is smarter, tougher and much more ruthless than I can ever be.

But I will oppose Palin / McCain until the election. My family depends on it.

@MCampbell

"Dedicated, loving, compassionate and the strength to fight for America is what Sarah Palin is all about."

She can be all that, but still be wrong for America. McCain is a war hero and all that, but he is wrong for America. They have neither the temperament, the judgement, the vision, nor have they any ideas for the way America needs to go in the next 5 years.

I have read both McCain and Obama Website, the Issues they outline there. McCain has nothing. Obama has an idea. Unless you know where you are going, you will end up someplace else.

Some of the great leaders of history - Alexander the Great, Lincoln, Gandhi, did not have this "experience" . They had the "Vision Thing", the "Communication Thing", the "Judgement Thing", the "Organization Thing", the "Discipline Thing". I see this in Obama. I am not saying he is the equal to these great people, but he has these characteristics. You can see it when he talks about the issues.

McCain cannot talk about the issues. He cannot lead, because he does not know where he is going. I see he has no sense of morality because of the lies he allows others to tell in his campaign. Lies about Obama's record, his life, his policies. He has no honor. He will pull any dirty trick to win. And he may very well win. But, like Bush, he cannot govern. He has no experience in governing. Neither does Palin.

I know this will not convince you of anything. But it will tell you why I think there is a difference, and why I will fight Palin / McCain.

@audioscape - Defining Palin

It is done. The GOP won.

You can whine, or get up and fight. Donate time and money, or do nothing.

If we lose, so be it. But I will not sit and do nothing.

Some responses

Nana4g, thank you for your kind words.

bleedingheartliberal - Yes. I agree. They are blowing it. I have seen O take these beatings before, but has bounced back to win. But, as they say in the mutual fund game, past performance is no guarantee of future returns. So, what can we do? I have made the decision that I will fight as if I, by fighting hard enough, I will make the crucial difference. I have no illusions, I know I won't. But that is not a reason for not trying.

MCampbell. O's record? McCain's is just as spotty. All politicians are. You are just looking for some excuse not to vote for O. No matter what he did, you will find it.

And what did Palin do with the money from Bridge to Nowhere. She built a road to nowhere, that leads right up to where the bridge was supposed to be. And she took some of that money and put it in the general fund. The same general fund that gave a rebate of $3269 to virtually every Alaskan this last year. She put all Alaskans on the take, like she herself is on the take. No, it is not illegal. It is just business as usual. She is just another politician.

So is Obama. But Obama has a vision, one that, if implemented has a SMALL CHANCE, to help our country. Palin / McCain just have a campaign.

@Progressives

Even though I will fight, watching the Dems flail is disheartening.

But, as Hillary reminded me, it is about the cause.

So, I went back to watch MY Candidate, at the Convention: Rep. Dennis Kucinich.

Yes, right wingers are gonna call him, and me, losers.

I do not care. I care about the cause.

Dennis Kucinich- WAKE UP, AMERICA!
