Just in case anyone is keeping track, please add my vote to this column being way off. I liked Jon Stewart, I think he was quite comfortable, I found the lack of narcissism a pleasant surprise, and I thought Reese's niceness was geniune and charming. And this from the middle of LA no less. I guess the evening didn't match the diatribe you had in your head, so you just wrote it anyway?
Why should we change the greatest healthcare system on the world to insure ~15-40 million people?
You honestly think the U.S. has the best healthcare system? Have you read any of the comparative studies? (The U.S. is nowhere near the top on those.)
Have you ever traveled outside of this country?
Some individuals here get excellent healthcare, but an an overall average, I think you are way off.
