When the over weight try

So normally, we have tirades against the evil fat folks - but think about it, if someone was over weight and was actually trying to do something about it by going to a gym, are the other folks there supportive, saying go for it, stick to it, or do they criticize the body of the over weight person making them self consensus so they don't work out and possibly get worse?

I've always noticed work clothing is rarely flattering to normal/or overweight body types, but if someone is making the effort for improvement or just to stay healthy, for gods sake don't discourage them!! Unfortunately the discouragement is more common and is one of the barriers for folks trying to change their life's around. People are just nasty.

We do have a liberal party - but it is not the Democratics

The Green Party is alive and well - and it supports

Single Payer

IVR Voting/Election Reform

No corporate money in Politics

No Corporate personhood

Gay Rights

It does not support the war in Afghanistan or Iraq

And it is the only progressive party in the US - wishful thinking will not make the Democrats progressive.

If you are local come to a real progressive event - no teabaggers http://www.econvergence.org/

Plenty of reasonable reasons

1) Not available in your area yet

2) Families with young kids are the 2nd highest percentage group with out insurance, right after the single 20 somethings.

3) More than one shot

4) School is already in sessions, and lots of kids were exposed before the shots were available, if your school has already been exposed - why get the shots?

5) Mom and dad are unemployed?

They are only for these laws when it impacts women - not men

"Here's an idea:

Add an amendment that the woman has to name the father. Now THAT would make some serious shit hit the fan."

Absolutely right - and since the man is not having a medical procedure the woman is, his name is not against HIPAA to post it.

The moment these stupid laws impact men, they go away -- it is only ok to abuse women with these damn laws - never men. PRINT HIS NAME with the details. No doubt the legislators who passed the law will come up a few times with a young 20 something- whose reason is my boyfriend is married and this would mess up his career in the GOP.
