--- There is a reason that eggs are not for sale legally, with the money angle, the prospect that it is not voluntarily becomes a real issue. In a country with little rights for lower caste women, where they are the property of their families - what idiot really believes that these women are really voluntarily? That they have a choice? These are not Americian or British women, who if their families tried to force them to do this, so the family could get 5,000 dollars (which is a large amount of money there) could go to the police or say no.

The reason infertility treatment is immoral, is not because of a happy couples desire to have children, it is that at the moment it involves a 3rd party, they are lituraly putting someone else in danger. The drugs used to ovolate women to get the eggs, are dangerous, have serious side affects, and may lead to the stupid 19yr girl who thought it was good money for college, in the ads she saw in her college paper, may now never be able to have kids of her own - side effects that the unregulated infertility industry are not good about explaining. Basically you have an older wealther women buying the fertility of a younger poorer women, who has a good chance of permentant medical side effects due to her part - either as an egg doner or as the vessel who carries the kid. It involves money, and women in poor positions of power - it is currupt as hell, and ripe for abuse. If your infertility treatments don't involve anyone else - ie its your own eggs, you are being implanted with power to you... but once the third person is brought in it is immoral, and no amount of self justification changes that ---- you don't know, and can never know if she really wants to be pregnant volunteerly for 5000$ , really think about it, what sane person wants to be pregnant with a baby that is not yours, and you can't keep for any amount of money, unless there are other pressures, or mental illness involved. And taking advantage of the other pressures (extreme poverty, forced by family, ...) for your own needs, is the actions of people you hope would never be parents - since it is so immoral. Or the actions of people who lie to themselves because they are so desparate for a child, they would do anything - even rob a young stranger of her medical health and future fertility for her own family.

If she stays home, she doesn't pay into Social Secruity, which means when she is old, she will get fewer benefits, and if she diviorces , she might not get her husbands benefits - not working creates poor old women -- the majority of elderly poor are female. They are poor because they have little in the way of social secruity because they took care of kids, a function our society doens't really value. If they'd worked, they'd be better off now.

A young woman who stays home with her kids, maybe doing what is best by her kids, but it is not what is best for her wealthfare in the long run.

The letters go on and on about illegals - but Kennedy wasn't talking to them, but to the young people marching in the parades who are not illegal - they are citizens, born right here in America - as American as the white boys posting in outrage to this board. And they can vote, illegals - can't

They are marching, because one of their parents, or a grandparent is illegal - and if the law passes they will be losing a parent, or a grandparent, how would you feel if the government came into your home and took away an aging family member?

They are marching, because even through they are 3rd/4th generation Americans, they are brown, and their names sound Mexican and immigrations raids, and behavior of the government frightens them, and makes them think that other Americans don't think they are American no matter how many generations they have been on US soil.

And as for the rest, my family came to the US in 1676 - and they were illegal as hell, and stole the land from the natives. So unless you are NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN - you are the descendent of an Illegal immigrant who stole the land from the native ethnic group. PERIOD -

People forget alot of the Irish who came to the US were illegal - because we didn't want those dirty Catholics, or Eastern Europeans, many of the Chinese from the last century were illegal, because we allowed the men to build the railroads, but didn't let the women in legally, because the US didn't want the dirty yellow bastards to breed.
