The whole nation has moved to the right. But honestly would you call Nixon a liberal? Just because the so called "right" has fallen off the map to the land of the insane, and the Democrats have moved into the spot where the Republicans use to be just a few short years ago before the 'god' insanity took them away. Doesn't make the Democrats liberal. They are actually conservatives. The Republicans are insane, and most folks have never met a real liberal.

Here is a hint "Single Payer" - that is a liberal healthcare policy, it is not even on the table, not an option in reform -why? because there are NO liberals in Washington.

Here is a hint ERA & Gay rights - that is a liberal social policy, and it has zero - ZERO traction in DC because there are no liberals in the capital.

Instead of throwing money at the Wall Street bail out - using it for healthcare (here is a hint we gave more money to AGI and Wall Street then the worse estimates for health care cost) - that would be liberal, and that is not what you got.

Ending the war, investigating torture, and not living in terror and whining due to fear of terrorist - that is a liberal policy, and you are never going to see.

If you want to meet liberals, you are going to have to look outside of the two main parties, because they don't have any - liberal actually means something, not just a random slur that the nuts use on anyone who thinks.

I like that - instead of paying for these expensive abstinence experts to teach sex ed - randomly pick parents from the student population and have them come in and give a clinical presentation - the kids will die of embarrassment and not think of sex for years, might even need therapy, but they wouldn't be messing around. Lots of American kids are born overseas, and they are all American natural born citizens.

His mother is from Kansas and a US citizen -- if she had given birth on Mars, then Obama would still be a natural born citizen, just like all the other US citizens born abroad.

McCain was born overseas in Panama, and is a natural born citizen, not because he was born on a military base --- which by the way is not US soil, only Embassies are - but because his Mother was a US citizen.

Its because you carried a duel citizenship --if you'd just had an American passport from birth you wouldn't have to go through any of that -- I grew up in Hong Kong -- my mom is a US citizen, and I had a US passport from birth, no issues. No naturalization necessary.

The US government doesn't like duel citizenships, and for along time didn't allow them for US citizens.
