My family has lived all over the world - we are white Americans, and we've driven in France, England, Turkey, Iran, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand .......

And you know what - we speak English, sad I know but our dysfunctional US education system really is only capable of teaching on language, unlike all my bi-lingual European friends (actually most of them speak more than two languages) -- and we could drive in all of those countries, most signs are universal, or intuitive, there is an international test...

Well in my circle, the women think that any man who goes to a prostitute has zero chances with them. But then my friends rarely have negative experiences with the men they date/marry..

Some how I think the two things are related.

As for a woman so low from job loss, she feels that she can't get/take help from her family -- or that somehow that help is worse than sex work, has alot more issues than sex work. And I hope the women who take this path can really keep it away from their kids, but I really doubt it. Things like this will never stay secret, especially if you let folks video tape it.

And the woman keeping it from her husband? Is about to be divorced and lose custody of her kid - what is she thinking?

The boyfriend might be, she most certainly is - the writer of this letter is not college material. She should save her money, get a job, and go to community college until her mastery of the English language improves.

She sounds silly, uneducated and well on her way to a unplanned pregnancy. Her mom is right, even if she is being heavy handed. Listen, next year this boy will be history, and you will be on to the next loser. Your education is far more important then sex. And you can always get sex latter, but the older you get the harder you will find it to go back to school.

The egg is not like sperm, but more like a kidney, it stays in the body until it is no longer viable.

We don't pay for kidney's because if we did it creates a black market like they have in India and E. Europe where men were kidnapped, their kidney's stolen, and dumped on the street without proper medical care. If a women's eggs have so much value there is are very nasty ways to get them - in E. Europe which has a problem with trafficking in women who are kidnapped and taken to the West for sexual work. What if it were more profitable to just cut them open and take out their eggs??

If we don't buy eggs there is no market, and no incentive to take body parts. We don't sell kidneys or other body parts period. People who take eggs without being able to trace them back to a living donor are no better than the Greek couples buying kidnapped Roma babies and adopting them, justifying to themselves that the kids are better off.

The final line is if you have to harm women to get what you need - then you have no business being a parent.

If you are waiting for a heart, lung, kidney -- would you buy black market? Or be on the waiting list? If you go black market odds are you are harming someone one.

-- Different question - I am an organ donor on my drivers license, my family knows... but I never thought about it -- do they take eggs? If not why not? Perhaps a separate check mark, if folks are not as comfortable with this as kidneys?

I would have no issue with it being an organ donation, just an issue with paying for something that would create a new danger to poor women.

The largest job loses were in fiance and industry - the best paying jobs for guys out there, the the employees in these two industries were over whelming male. If the article says 80% of job lost is male -- perhaps because those two industries were almost 80% male employees?

If you layed off teachers, you'd have 80% females....

Really people get a clue. Men went into the best paying fields they could get into, and they were industries that really hadn't openned up to women in big ways yet, and just those industries took a huge hit -- several of the largest companies - went bankrupt... they didn't say lets just fire the guys, they laid off everyone, and went out of business
