If you clicked all the way through to the picture of the common looking model -- go down the page to the Child Crys add -- now that is creepy -- and very sad. Not to mention a topic more worthy of the broadsheet -- can we bring this section out of the gossip mode it has slipped into since it was changed from the old title?
How about the article in Time on the number of children being raised in the Philippians without parents -- because now both parents are overseas working.
With all the arguments over if legalizing prostitution will protect women or increase trafficking -- how about an investigative piece.
Perhaps articles on how little birthcontrol methods have improved over the last ten years, and reasons why....
How about actual news pieces, not another story about a one off research project with weird results that will never be replicated.... how about some real science?
I don't care about ads aimed at men who haven't matured enough to start thinking with their brains yet, and I don't need to know about it ... but the conditions of women around the world who maybe helped or hurt by the actions of women in our country - yes (surgate motherhood in India ) except I don't want the emotional pieces that get people to argue-- because it pushed buttons -- but pieces with hard facts and numbers from NGO's, the UN and government agencies dealing with the issues -- I want facts from Broadsheet -- I can come up with my own emotions, thanks
So folks seem bothered by the fact that she lied to someone she loved.
So they assume that they meet and decided for themselves to get married. How many Muslims that are so traditional they still do the bloody sheet thing do you think are not arranged marriages??? Think about it. Really - where are your brains!!
So she didn't necessary lie to him, or even necessarily talk to him before marriage except at formal chaperoned events. Hell she might of met him at the wedding for the first time, flown in from another country.
The family makes the arrangements and assumes she is a virgin and represents her as one. Maybe she is, maybe she isnt' -- but if not power to her for keeping some part of her life for herself.
And mister traditional is embarrassed, I hope she is the citizen in France and can stay in the country if divorced, and this gives her the freedom to make relationships, and eventually the marriage she wants.
So lesson: traditional Muslims have traditional marriages, which tend to be arranged by the two families.... and the family of the girl always say she is a virgin. No lying involved - mom and dad believe it and they speak for their daughter.
Women are human beings, with real feelings, wants and needs.
There are no rules on courtship -- those only worked when women had no option but nunhood or marriage.
Now adays each and every woman is different, and wants something different, expecting them to act a certain way, or for dating rules to work -- tells me you are too lazy, you just want to get laid with out any effort. To you a woman is not a person, but a fuck toy. You can't be bothered to get to know them.
Women are not men, they don't want what you want.
Your sexual frustration is just that, its yours. And no one else is responsible for it in anyway. Hating women because you are frustrated is just a way to avoid responsibility to yourself, to explore what you really want - and how you need to change. No body wants to change, no one likes self change, but since absolutely no woman on this planet owes you anything -- period. You can either figure out what you need to do to change or live with your frustrations. Most men opt for the "Player" crap -- here is a hint that is not true change, you didn't become a better person, just a manipulative bastard - and quality women will know it and avoid you. After awhile you'll get bored of screwing idiots, and you will be back to square one, with a need to change yourself. Except now you are lot older.
The UN reports make it clear that in locations where prostitution is legal, violence against all women goes up, and trafficking in humans increased, because it becomes hard to prosecute.
Also that trafficking is strongly linked to small arms smuggling, and drug trafficking - usually all 3 are run by the same organizations. Giving a foot hold to one, gives a foot hold to all.
Trafficking is about the rape and abuse of people, frequently minors, male and female. Perhaps guys can't take this seriously because they are thinking about women who they image are just making money, now in your head replace that woman with a 16 year old boy from another country that doesn't speak the language so good, and tell me legalization is great.
Yes people should be able to do what they want with their bodies, but the world is not fair and it doesn't work that way - legalization drives up demand, and sex tourism, leading to more demand than willing folks to server, and there is a group of criminals waiting to fill demand -- which can never be met by willing participates, a mismatch in demand and supply leads to crime problems.
Its legal in the Netherlands, but it is estimate 70% of prostitutes in Netherlands are illegal aliens, with no papers, no language skills, age unknown --- they are not legal prostitutes but probably a lot are trafficked -- because the number of native Dutch girls who want to do this are small, and there is alot of demand.
