Who cares if 1000's of Portland women can't get birthcontrol - you don't those fetus are more important.

Who cares that Plan Parenthood will provide more women with pre-natal care then abortions - but who cares about those live babies and their moms - you don't the fetus is more important.

Your personal issues are more important than a bunch of women and kids, after all they are poor and alive, why should you care.

Its not like you'd support medical care for the living, but hey you support the people who threaten to kill adults who would build this place. Maybe you should look up the meaning of Christian, kind, caring, human -- because they don't mean what you think they mean.

Perhaps you should read the articles on Obama over in the Time Blogs -- don't assume a democrat is pro-choice. Actually the Democrats have a large pro-life wing as well. Your only option for real protection of birth control, and abortion -- ie keeping the government out of your bedroom, is a third party -- either the Green Party or the Libertarians.

But don't assume a Black man from a traditional black church is for birth control or abortion. He supported FISA, and is already waffling on the abortion issue. Progressive issues are only usefully on the campaign trail, then they die on the floor of the white house, and the Democrats are puppets like the Republicans to the money interest. That MAJORITY democratic house, hasn't protected you from these new bills, because they have democrats as co-sponsors......pay attention Democrat doesn't automatically mean pro-choice, or in favor of birth control.

What that means, is that after you have been unemployeed past six months (wither you want to be or not) you are no longer counted in the unemployment numbers the government publishes.

Ever wonder why the rate always seems to hover around 5% -- even when you know tons of folks looking for jobs? Because 5% is what makes wall street happy, not to low - or wages go up, not to high or the natives get restless.

Why stop counting folks, usually no matter how liberal your state unemployment insurance is -- it probably runs out around six months. Once you no longer get unemployment, they have no way of tracking you as a number until you are re-employed.

Which of course means that alot of those folks are not really dropped out, after all they still have bills -- but that they can no longer file for or receive unemployment. You are not really dropped out, just no longer counted as unemployed.

So how many of you have schools that band gang colors or style clothing? Most , why because it works.

And yes I do know Muslim women, and no they don't wear the veil and never have ... The vast majority of Christians are not the right wing nuts.. and the vast majority of Muslims are not the nut jobs that wear full veils.

Lots of folks in France are citizens and Muslims.. but they speak French, dress French, and have some ideal of what it means to be French. This women knows nothing. Why would anyone want such a person as a citizen, except for countries that don't grant full citizenship to women.

1) It said it didn't seem to matter much what the women were eating.

2) If they worked less than an hour a day for five days out of a week -- that they didn't get results..ie if they worked out 1/2 hour everyday, it didn't work. ...

3) For the women who did work out an hour a day for five out of seven - they seemed to max out at 10%. The guess they had on that was that the body had a set rate and was fighting the change.

So none of these women got skinny - even after two years of regular work outs. The doctors were surprise by the results, because they thought diet would have a noticeable effect, and it didn't, they thought less exercise would have an effect, and it didn't, and they thought the group setup to do the most - would have lost more than 10% after two years,and they didn't.

They don't know why the expected results didn't happen, after all doctors swear on calories , exercise is a straight forward formula that should work, except these kind of test show it is not that simple.

Is that the women in the list didn't volunteer to have their pictures put up there -- look at C.Rice under chicks in politics - as what is listed as her vice. This is just a chance for men who haven't grown up to slam women in the public sphere. There is nothing to keep a guy to from putting up truly nasty stuff about an ex-girlfriend here.

And the measurements are way off, because the guy who loaded them up doesn't know the measurements, or the height but is guessing them when put in.

Sad, and pathetic, but no one is surprised.
