Ultimately the best way to pressure the airlines, and therefor the TSA, is to stop flying unless you really need to. If they are smart enough to run billion-dollar businesses, they should be able to figure out that people don't appreciated being treated like cattle.

I didn't make an excuse for Obama, I made a factual statement. He has consistently opposed torture. If changes his mind at some later date, you can bash him for it.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]If politicians could win just by agreeing with what the public says in polls, the Democrats would win every election cycle. Most people agree with the Democrats on almost all of the issues. You have to anticipate how the issue is going to be framed. Alas, history suggest that the Republicans are going to be successful at framing most national security issues to their own advantage.
