You can save your sophomoric jokes about daddy and blow up dolls for your only real relationships...electronic ones.....your fallback to schoolmarm knowitall just confirms my earlier assessment. Go Hillary !
I go to the gym 4 days a week so I won't ever look like that. Your strong defense of that body suggests you need to spend some time at the gym yourself. I bet you want free healthcare for all, too.
Although I think Obama is a great world leader....this award is premature and does give the right additional ammunition that legitimately discredits this ideologically driven group.
Get sexually assaulted. Please BS....cover this one:
Another radfem over reporting sexual assaults ....but that doesnt happen !

Did you believe the study that the insurance companies paid for that found healthcare reform would result in higher costs for people that already have insurance ? When I heard about this story on NPR, at least they included in the report that there has been criticism of these findings due to the obvious advocacy and ideology of the Guttmacher Institute. Maybe we should ask NOW to do a study on the pay gap?
Its unfair for Barbara Ehrenreich to try to defend generic feminism against the findings of this study. Most would agree equal rights feminism was a good thing and has been incorporated into mainstream thought. It's really radical feminism which is so easy to skewer and has created the backlash to whats left of the feminist movement. And by radical feminism, i mean victimhood feminism. Almost all of the tenets of radical feminism seek to blame men for all of womens problems, and it's backers continue to use discredited methods to try to make their case. Men have finally awoke and realized there are women out there that embrace misandry and are willing to work legislatively to gain every advantage possible. From bogus statistics on DV, rape, restraining orders and equal pay to unconstitutional family courts that administer alimony, custody and child support, radical feminism has been dragged from the shadows and is in the midst of its swan song. Women now have all the same choices men have.....they now have to learn to live with them.
For this obviously retouched photo ? Oh...I forgot, she's not a madmen girl.
Your better than that !
Why do I not feel like I am getting richer ? I do feel like I am recovering steep losses....but that still has a long way to play out. The fact is the market over reacted to the fundamentals a year ago, and it is slowly creeping back up to numbers that are appropriate given historical metrics. It's also a well known fact that the market generally is the earliest indicator of the end of a recession, and that unemployment is the last thing to recover. So given historical precedence...none of this is terribly surprising...except $75 a barrel oil, which is ridiculous, unsustainable and obviously still being supported by speculators and not market conditions.
Eat right. Exercise. Deep 6 the Madmen references.
To be truthful, I just don't understand how a woman's view of herself is tied up in how skinny models are. I unfortunately don't look anything like male models or have the same build...but I know I eat right and exercise and that makes me the best I can be. I am happy with that and thats the same message I give to my kids......it's pretty sad when self esteem comes from magazines.
I disagree that women feel the need to be pretty MORE than men feel the need to be handsome. We all have a need to be wanted....men just aren't allowed to talk about it.
Dissecting the various forms of feminism is a smoke screen. Who is the face of feminism today ? In terms of media exposure and organization, you know quite well that radical feminism is the sharp end of the stick...as women like Christine Hoff Sommers may call themselves feminist, but the reality is they represent mainstream thought. So stop trying to confuse matters with multiple definitions of feminism, it's clearly FUD.
I also notice you have a habit of labeling anyone who disagrees with you as angry. You have convinced yourself I am "angry" on numerous occasions, when in fact, I don't get angry about gender issues...this is more like a hobby for me. I just wanted to let you know, it is a poor debating method and very transparent to label someone as angry (emotional) to discredit them especially coming from a so called feminist who should be sensitive to how women react to this type of "patronizing".
Well I am glad to see my feminist friends are willing to admit that they are willing to use nookie to manipulate their husbands. Statistically speaking, I am now motivated to make my wife do more housework....thanks for another great analysis.
Where I see radical feminist trope is Huffington Post, Slate, Salon, Feministing, Feministe, Pandagon, and the rest of the local blogroll. I also see the feminist message (man bad, woman good) in primetime tv every night, although it never matches my experiences. I see it in healthcare debates, in family court, the NY Times and in college enrollment and graduation rates......I also see it when the president creates a council on women and girls....
I forgot to mention that I am not aware of any feminist organizations from the Hoff-Sommers, McElroy, Farrel version that compete with NOW, Emily's List, Mom's Rising.....etc. Maybe you know some ?
