@Asehpe

Typo - great catch ! As far as echo chamber...it's clear you don't have any idea what a media echo chamber is.

"You also missed my point, which is that people don't need to rant and rave to express their opinion and make their points. What did you read of my post? Oh, the part about me accusing you of living in an echo-chamber. Bravo! That's really the most important and essential part of it all, right?"

What is clear, is you have no idea what an echo chamber is...(think media echo chamber....not sound echo chamber) btw, it appears you are ranting....

"As for Ms Benfer's article, let's see: it (written before the evidence others here cite) says lots of good things about the men involved, a few bad things about the woman involved, and ends up saying we need more evidence (which promptlyt appeared after the article was written). Hmmm..."

Hmmm once again has nothing to do with anything.

Now, in the Chris vs. Rihanna case, weren't you one of those saying we needed more information before coming to a conclusion?

Again...a nonsensical statement (obfuscation).

"Could it be that, like the radfems who think anything not written by them reeks of "patriarchy," you also can't see anything written by "feminists" except through colored glasses with "no good!" written all over them?"

Again...reread my post...i asked for a specific example of a feminist agreeing that false rape allegations are a problem. (comprehension)

"That would fit the definition of an echo-chamber in which you chose to live, now wouldn't it?"

Again....lack of fundamental understanding of what an echo chamber is.(comprehension)

You mentioned 25% as the real number of false allegations... any real-world studies to justify that? Links, please. And now: that would mean 75% of the cases are true accusations. Now, what do you think of that? Or is this -- true rape accusations -- a no-no topic in the MR echo-chamber? Another example of another no-no hOtrOd topic: how about non-reported cases of rape? Are they ever a concern to you? Oh no, they're not really important, right? The 25% false accusations are much more important than the unreported cases...

Google Barry Schecks innocence project...or dept of justice dna results on rape allegations...or fbi data....it's all out there, not that i would expect you to read it.(obfuscation)

And to think you accuse others of living in an echo-chamber... What's that biblical advice about the beam in your own eye again?

Again...lack of fundamental understanding of echo chamber (comprehension)

Oh, you asked for a reference to a feminist who talks about false rape accusations being a problem. Have a look at Wendy McElroy's book XXX: A Woman's Right to Pornography, where she talks about that. Wait, wait--there's more than one kind of feminism? Oh sugar! I gotta tell the other chaps in the echo-chamber...

As I have made clear ad nauseum...feminism that i speak of is radical feminism...which represents the feminist echo chamber. You won't find anything from Wendy McElroy here, now will you ? When I say feminist echo chamber....think Broadsheet and all the sites they link to in their blogroll (obfuscation).

@Asehpe

Last Time.

1. When I say feminism I mean radical feminism....the rest of feminism has been incorporated into mainstream thought.

2. Echo chamber is a logical grouping of media that repeats the same stories, and even though they represent fringe thinking, are presented as mainstream by publishing them over and over (think Rush Limbaugh, FOX News, Drudge report.... right wing echo chamber, get it ?....oh never mind.

3. For someone who claims to be from academia you are quite uninformed.

4. Obsess much ? What you really need is some positive male role models in your life.

DNA Tests

Should be required at birth. How else can we know who the mother is ?

Original article: Crazy, sexy self-help gurus

Amusing

OK...I admit, I find this stuff terribly amusing. Not sure what it is, but as I watched 2 out of 3 sisters...and my 80 year old mother embrace crazy sexy self-help guru's (apparently yoga is a must), I just wonder what it is I'm missing. My only question is, how does Deepak Chopra fit into all this ?

Racism as Censorship

There is nothing wrong with speculating racism had something to do with Joe Wilson's outburst. There's nothing wrong with saying there are racists in the republican party. The problem...Joan...is using the racism charge as a tool to discredit and censor anybody that disagrees with you. Go back and read through the history of your blogs. It's the same thing you did with HRC when you labeled everybody and anybody who didnt support hillary as sexist and misogynistic. By using this method you actually empower your enemies.

Media

The media is nothing more than partisan americans who are reporting what they want rather than the news...and most americans are not tuned into the daily cable shows or blogs....so yes, common sense tends to prevail in the middle of the country.

Btw, the move on add is a loser. It is funny to a left wing believer...but does anyone (other than Joan) really believe this would be funny, or effective, to middle america ? Another example of how out of step the left wing (and right wing) are from the sensible center.

Girls as Students

Yes girls will always be better at sitting still and following orders. The question is, now that they are getting more grad and post grad educations, where is the payoff from an economic standpoint ? The problem is a perception that women lack innovation and risk taking skills. Where are the googles and ciscos or other innovative new companies launched by women ? Crickets.

@Asehpe

It certainly shouldn't take equal percentage in education for data to exist on female innovation.....even when they were in the minority, wouldn't there be some evidence ? Btw, equal percentage in education is a very interesting way of describing the current situation.
