Joan's Negligence

I don't know how else to describe Joan's negligence in not mentioning the Republicans picked up 2 seats in the senate in 1996 even though a sitting president was re-elected. Is that willful or ignorant ? That's your idea of exposing ideas as dead end ? As a propaganda distributor, you have a fine career in front of you.....as a political analyst....your terrible.

Distraction

Again....the liberals are focused on the wrong thing. It doesn't matter how many crazies come out at town hall meetings...what matters is what the democrats are doing with legislation. Right now, they are failing, independent of crazies at town hall meetings. This is starting to look like a democratic distraction strategy. If the democrats dont put forth a plan with a public option they will fail....period.

@Bellatrix

All you need to do is look at the polls to see your dead wrong. People do like Obama. People do want healthcare reform. The townhall meetings dont matter. What matters is the Dems need to start leading now...or they will soon be following.

Trolls and Womanhood

Hah....I would say most trolls and trollettes learn their views of womanhood through their mothers. Much like most trolls and trollettes learn their views of manhood from their fathers....when they have one. Cant wait to learn about this guys parents. Although, I must say this is certainly less ghoulish than the women murdering other women for their unborn babies....is this a trend ladies ?

@DIabl4

Given your sexual preferences, I think I am safe in saying you are a man hater.....and clearly know nothing about hetero relationships.....(probably fat, too....maybe thats why you spend so much time in the gym). Stereotypes are so much fun.

Friday, August 7, 2009 11:12 AM

@Diabl4

Why is my statement "jerk"....do you have anything other than your ignorant opinion ? There is a host of data in the psychology field that shows people get most of their knowledge of genders and relationships from their parents. Where did you get your data, womyn's studies ?

Friday, August 7, 2009 11:28 AM

@Diabl4

Now that we're being truthful...that comment was meant to be a stinging rebuke to another women good/man bad article brought to you by the propaganda machine that is broadsheet. In a week full of headlines full of nasty shit from both genders, my blinkered friends at BS, only have one way to cover the "lady" beat.

I really don't think your a man hater, or anything else I said, but I think you got my point....oh yeah, and I hate this guy for what he did. I, too, go to the gym 4 days a week and at 40 something, I don't appreciate the stigma now attached to me, even though I'm happily married for 20 years. I guess I need to make sure I flash my ring to show my "maybe not a loser" card.

@Svutlov

"You mean after you open up your mouth and go into your usual rhetoric."

Actually, I don't talk to anyone at the gym...so fuck off.

"I never quite gotten you, except that you hate Democrats (not necessarily liberals)... just because."

Your certainly right about not getting me...I have voted Democratic all my life.

"I will vouch for Diable4; he is in good shape, he doesn't hate men (gay or straight)."

Wow...your voucher has no value.

"However I often find that I have a problem with straight men, particularly white straight men, even though I am a white straight man."

Shocking. Based on your posts...I would say you have an inferiority complex.

"You are a lot like a lot of the white straight men I work with, and I never understood why people like you have so much anger. You rule the world, have the most rights, the most opportunities, the most choices, the most advantages, and the least amount of social stigmas associated with the color of your skin and gender, and yet you claim you are treated unfairly and are oppressed by women, homosexuals, and minorities."

I have absolutely no anger...so again, your clueless. I just disagree with the victim mentality here, and hate the fact that I have to share a political party with people who's only goal in life appears to be asking for handouts....which you obviously adhere to. Stand up for yourself. Go get what you want...earn it...stop whining.

"Take a good long look in mirror, and say to yourself, "I got life good, I don't have to shit on other people, or blame the less fortunate for the petty problem that I don't really have.""

I think maybe you need to look in the mirror and say...."I'm good enough, I'm smart enough....and doggone it, people like me."...then you can tell us ANOTHER story on how much women like you...chuckle.

@Svutlov

Let me help clear things up for you, although I think it should be obvious. I am a moderate democrat. I believe radical feminism is a cancer on the democratic party, the usa, families and fathers

Not sure why my whiteness matters...but you are correct. But....there are more white men living in poverty than black men....there are more white men living in poverty than hispanic men. Saying "you rule the world" because I'm a white man is the height of ignorance. I have in much in common with the power brokers of this country as I have with a hispanic illegal immigrant...essentially nothing. And that is exactly the attitude I find despicable. Identify politics suck !

Why do I care ? Because I have a white son and a white daughter and I want them both to have equal opportunities. It is the goal of radical feminists and affirmative action types to ensure that doesn't happen.

@canaldoc

Yeah, except I hear women use the term bitch more than I hear men use it.....so let's clarify....bitch is as offensive to SOME women.....probably better to say it is offensive to radical feminists.
