@bigguns

Of course I think they have the evidence. I suspect they don't believe it's worth their time.

On another note, you might be interested in this column, which posits that women's initiation of violence predicts their own risk to violence....common sense to me.

Amy, Get A Clue

I don't think I could mischaracterize the Time article anymore than you did, if I was actually paid to....although I guess you are paid to as well. Clearly the cabal of middle class white women writing for BS don't have a unique thought amongst the whole group, and clearly marriage is not a subject any have demonstrated any success in. You should stick to subjects that you know like single motherhood and posslq's.

@magdelyn

This is what single motherhood and the feminization of the education system has wrought. The reality is there is still a large number of men being raised by men....unfortunately for liberals, the men will all grow up to be republicans, and you won't see these men in cities....at least not until they are in their 20's. I for one, will continue to promote fatherhood and maleness to my tribe, even if I'm the last democrat doing it.

Original article: Mommy does Dallas

Amusing Custody Issue

Given how badly men are regularly screwed in family court, i find it amusing at all the outrage that this women has lost custody. Feminist organizations like NOW have continued to fight joint custody legislation and support the notion that any accusation by a women should be taken at face value in the family courts. The bigger question should be, should father's lose custody just because the mother decides it....or better yet, should children lose their right to a father, because the mother finds it convenient ? Keep your eye on the ball girls.

Liberal Talking Points

Of course the author assumes independents are swayed by GOP talking points, but the reality is Dems don't even give Barack or the Dem congress high marks. This certainly is not change I can believe in. If Obama wants to get anything done, he needs to drop any pretense of getting re-elected and ram the change through. The economic stimulus plan was wussified....it may yet help, but I don't think anyone thought it was a great plan. Democrats have the upper hand due to Republican incompetence....this has nothing to do with ideology. If things don't get better soon, the dems will start bleeding seats. That's politics.

Shocking

The Broadsheet girls are in agreement !!! Diversity anyone ? I heard there is a "men are redundant" party going on at the secret lair of BS writers. Anyone care to speculate on that truthiness ?

@brian schlosser

This blog in general and this post in particular are propaganda outlets for radical feminists....hence the feedback from antifems. Stick around for awhile, you'll pick up on the model: Misandric headline, details surrounding misandry, closing personal anecdotes that make it all OK to be "sarcastic" about. Go look up the definition of propaganda, it's the only reason this ghetto exists.

Propaganda

If it's not propaganda, you have to ask why only one side of the gender beat is presented. The discussion is happening in the letters section, but there is only one side presented by the authors in this women good/men bad blog. Open debate is about providing a more diverse view than the angst of middle class white radical feminists.

Blinkering Indeed

It's exactly these kind of views...equating abortion and rent that put you at the -3 sigma side of the population.

Was Murder on Her Bucket list ?

Just wondering if BS was going to cover the murder of ex-NFL quarterback Steve McNair at the hands of his girlfriend ? Oh sorry, doesn't fit the man bad/woman good model ?

More Propaganda

Glad to see that the majority see this drivel for what it is. I have been hammered time and time again on this board for being an out of touch repub (even though I never voted for one), and yet...my wife and I lived together for 5 years before we got married. That was 25 years ago, and we tied the knot once we were ready for kiddies. See, being pro-family is really about the kids, but fems can't be pro-family, because that requires them to think about someone other than themselves. Until the fems realize they dont have the right to shortchange their kids for their own convenience and comfort...they remain a fringe special interest group.

Original article: Slagging Sotomayor

Identity Politics

Only a feminist would defend a racist statement like the one Sotomayor made about a "wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life". Outside of that, this nomination is a slam dunk. It just kills feminists that rich white males are also protected by the constitution.

Feminazi Anger

Sounds to me like the usual suspect feminazi's have AT LEAST as much pent up anger as the activist interuptus. It must be scary when they go home and beat their partners. Its funny how symmetrical the radical wings are.

@greeneyed

feminzai is in the merriam-webster online dictionary.....defined as an extreme or militant feminist. Sounds exactly how I meant it. And since I have never listened to a Rush Limbaugh show, I guess the term got picked up in the MSM. It is a good lesson for you, though....when moderates begin to look like right wingers, it shows how far left you are, which goes to my point about radical symmetry at the nutjob endpoints. Now don't you have a trekkie convention to run off to ?

Directed at Women

Because men already know this truth. Welcome to corporate america, ladies, everything your mother told you about having it all is bullshit. Now make your choices.

White Males Justices

Can someone provide a quote from a white male supreme court justice where they said that their whiteness and maleness made them reach better decisions ?.....crickets
