Ugly IS Relevant

This woman is a media fascination BECAUSE she combines a beautiful voice with an ugly face. Unfortunately that is now quite unique. Video killed the radio star and this woman has a face made for radio. I blame MTV more than anything else for the idea that music is made by beautiful people. But really what happened is, for at least pop stars, musical talent is no longer necessary.

Obsessions are unhealthy

And the obsession that BS has with a failed VP candidate is quite puzzling. Especially when more ink is being spilled these days on the failed VP candidates family.

Divorce Suggestions

OK, sometimes divorce works. But rather than incenting women to divorce by giving them custody and financial advantages in family court we need to level the playing field. Presumed joint custody. Elimination of restraining orders without due process. Real child support schedules based on....actual child rearing financial records !! Elimination of alimony unless the receiver of alimony has a provable case for it, and even then it should be temporary. Eliminate joint marriage assets...it's very easy to see who contributed what, everyone has financial records. It's time for women who refuse to work or "choose" to be underemployed to pay their own way. A man is not a wallet.

Family court is on the way out as a feminist institution. This will be fun to watch.

Utter Trash

This is more of the feminist fantasy world where what they wish was reality is continuously promoted as...well reality. Just because someone somewhere wrote an article about it, doesn't make it so. I guess I'll go repress my homosexual tendencies now.

The Hard Science

Im sure you all remember this story. This is hard science that shows men that said they were heterosexual were in fact..heterosexual...by measuring their "level of excitement". It also showed women were excited by all manners of sexuality including bonobo's screwing.

Faux Outrage

This is ridiculous....Kate. Doesn't the daughter get to see her mother work on weekends ?

Hero?

There are only 50-60 of these perfect games pitched per year? Jeez, why don't we give her the keys to the city.

Time to Reform Legal Divorce

As long as a prenuptial agreement is accepted as a legal document, that pretty much confirms that divorce laws, as they relate to assets are unjust. How does a women with no opportunity to every make a million dollars end up with hundreds of millions ? Equal share of assets should be changed to appropriate share. You take out what you put in.....period.

He Does Have a Point

It is unsustainable to continue to believe that women can marry the state. Healthcare for all, childcare for all, more time off for child bearing and all those other liberal essentials have to be paid for by someone....or maybe not.

Sexist

Part of the problem of this ad....and all the commenters so far, is the mistaken impression that domestic violence is exclusively male on female. As multiple studies and statistics show, domestic violence is gender blind, and as long as feminists ignore, lie, or explain this away, there will not be much movement on this. There is currently 1 billion dollars funded by the US government for VAWA....which completely ignores female on male violence. Makes you think this is nothing more than a government bureaucracy whose top priority is self preservation. Ideology indeed.

It Is a Religion

Regardless of what happened in this court case, Women's Studies and Feminism is a religion....at least in the court of public opinion. And please don't throw the garbage out about feminism representing equal pay or equal rights, that was 30 years ago and is a mainstream concept today. What feminism is today is radical feminism, which is what is being taught in women's studies programs and promoted by all leading voices of the so called feminist movement today. And it is an anti-male, anti-family, dishonest religion which does not even have the majority support of the group it is suppose to represent..... women. You gotta love a group that promotes itself as representing women when the majority of women agree with my definition. Shine on you crazy diamond.

Early Celebration

There are two issues that will always give the Republicans a huge advantage in elections, lower taxes and lower spending. Americans by a wide margin support these concepts. Keep that in mind before completely writing off the GOP. It wasn't that long ago when the GOP was writing us off....and had literally made "liberal" a bad word. If the GOP has any smarts at all, they are going to torpedo their extreme social views and play up the financial conservatism. Based on Barack's first budget, that may be very fertile ground in 2012.

@imho

Wow...that's some twisted logic. Women have the right to choose because it's their body. So unless you want to allow men to share in that right, I suggest you stick to helping women prevent their body from becoming pregnant.

NeoFeminism

Feminism is an ideology which politically, is nothing more than a special interest group for a small subset of white middle class liberal women. Goal: More money and services from the government and more pay and less work from business. Great work if you can get it.

@thejim

People like to receive the benefits of more spending.....but people also dislike deficits....finally ! So as the deficits and the national debt pile up, this will come back to the fore front. This is one of the major initiatives that swept the republicans into office in '94. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Your venom is only surpassed by your ignorance. 52% minority anyone ?

Shocking

I am shocked that Kenyan women would use sexual gatekeeping as a means for male manipulation. Thank god that would never happen in the US, especially by our holier than thou feminists. snicker.
