What About Rihanna ?

I am calling on one of the Broadsheet writers to step up and address the latest in the Rihanna saga. Since your wrote the WTF on the mere suggestion that Rihanna might need anger management classes, don't you think you owe your readers an update ? Since the story has been out for 3 days that Rihanna struck Chris Brown first and multiple times while he was driving, don't you think this story deserves an update ? This is apparently in the police report, shouldn't we be calling for her arrest ? Really ladies we need you to weigh in. Judy, Rebecca and TCF have all weighed in on this story....until it was reported that Rihanna actually started the fight....I guess they don't call it propaganda for nothing.

Re_lyc

My post was directed at the Broadsheet authors not you. So you think Rihanna is blameless ?...my point exactly.

Child's Tragedy

The real tragedy...not surprisingly ignored by the distinguished panel, is the likely violation of the child's right to be raised with his biological father. Poor poor Bristol....she'll just have to find a different suitable man that she prefers. What an inconvenience.

Thank you for making the case for presumed joint custody.

Obama's First Coverup and More Propaganda

Unfortunately, Obama has also shown his penchant for censorship. After the Bureau of Labor paid for a study on the gender pay gap, and posted it on it's web site, it has now been removed. Big surprise, the study reviewed more than 50 existing studies on the subject and came to the conclusion that the gender pay gap could be explained to within 5% by other factors like education, job types, hours worked, etc....and the remaining delta was not necessarily due to discrimination. What happened to this study ? After contacting the Office of Federal Contract Compliance about the whereabouts of the study and why it was removed from the Bureau of Labor website, I was told to submit a Freedom of Information Act form. Now does that remind you of anyone ?

Gonzo Feminism

That's what Jessica and her ilk represent. I could care less about her getting married...but I do feel bad for her husband to be. I hope he is good at taking orders. My problem with Jessica and the rest of the Broadsheet blogroll....is they spout their gonzo feminist lies while practicing the worst kind of censorship. Is there a reason why you have never seen a radical feminist in any kind of serious debate ? Because their ideology is indefensible....so they continue to spout their man hate and don't have to defend it. Take your pick, gender pay gap, domestic violence, rape, etc...they continut to publish falsehoods and are not held accountable for it.

Unfortunately for them, men have noticed....and I'm not talking about the errand boy she is marrying.

The Real Problem

Is the use of this crisis to ram through the liberal agenda. Now as someone who voted for Obama and is generally progressive, I would like to see some of these initiatives like healthcare and energy addressed, but WE ARE CURRENTLY IN A BANKING CRISIS ! That spending bill should be an embarrassment for Obama. I do believe Obama and the Democratic leadership is using this crisis to justify quick action on issues that can and must wait. Please spend some time communicating the details of what is to be done with zombie banks and toxic loans....that's what matters now and in the foreseeable future. The market is going nowhere until this plan is understood. When you get chastised by people like Jack Welch and Warren Buffet you better listen.

Alcohol and Rape Statistics

Since you dismiss rape-lite as a much bigger problem in the minds of paranoid men, maybe you have something to back that statement up ? Or is that the standard feminist dismissal of statistics that don't support your point ? There have been many studies that identify false rape accusations as a major problem, but feminist ideologues refuse to acknowledge the problem. So stick your head back in the sand and continue playing the victim's violin. We can only make progress on issues like DV and rape when the subjects are addressed with honesty.....that clearly won't happen here in the feminist echo chamber.

@spankathon

I would like to help. The problem is that would put me in direct contact with people (volunteers) I would likely despise....and likely would despise me. Based on what I have read about the people running DV shelters and sexual violence prevention, I don't think my view of the world would be embraced. See the best thing that could happen for these initiatives would be if feminists deserted them.....then people who care wouldn't be insulted when they tried to help.

@spankathon

The problem with your devil's advocate position, is there is no need to bring alcohol into the discussion. Anytime a man has sex with a woman (including his wife) he opens himself up to charges of rape. So whether a woman is drunk, positioning herself for divorce, or just having second thoughts, a false rape charge is always a possibility for a man. So, no...it doesn't sting....it's just reality.

Run With It

Did you read the part about when the father's IQ was taken into account, the data normalized ? IE....fathers over 50 that had kids were not likely to be too swift....fits perfectly with my sensibility. But, again this is broadsheet.

@asehpe

Yes I noticed the sarcasm and criticism....but I'm glad to see you are recognizing that the delivery is consistent.

More Background Noise

Impoverished boys are the poorest performing demographic scholastically that is tracked...by a wide margin. So, please let's increase funding for girls jump rope !

@the Jim

The editor is the person (Joan Walsh) who's politics most reflect broadsheet sensibilities. The bigger question is where is the ceo and/or board ?

Love is Estrogen

I guess testosterone is sex ? Can you explain how this relates to a man's love for his father or son ? Or is that just a prize, too ?
