Initiator

Still doesn't clear up who initiated the violence...and as I'm sure you all know, in her age group, it's statistically more likely that she did. Before this is over, she may be arrested as well. I would not describe this picture as one of a woman who had been through a "violent beating". I've looked worse at the hands of my sisters. Flame away.

Age of Consumption

OK, let's say the teenage girls start sexting naked pictures to 30 year old men, or 40 year old men. Is it still good clean fun ?

Income Test

I think an income test is the only way to bail out the losers. If you make more than 6 figures, you've been downsized. Yes they are losers, even if the bank's shouldn't have lent them the money. It's called buyer beware....YOU are responsible when you sign your name. Welcome to the age of no accountability.

@imnobody

I agree. Any studies conducted by feminists with an axe to grind and an ideology to follow should be taken with a large grain of salt. Susan Fiske fits neatly into this category.

@bernbart

Don't you mean emergency contraception ? This bill is about a fertilized egg, so it is not about pregnancy prevention, but rather pregnancy extension.

Silly Questions

I got to number 5 of Jill's "excellent" questions before I quit reading....come on, these are not excellent questions, they are a distraction. The only way to define life is viability. Can this gnome survive outside the womb......with technology, that timeframe will continue to shrink and shrink.

In the meantime this is a silly exercise by some of our least favorite nutjobs and will not stand any kind of court challenge. But saying "how long should a women who had an abortion serve time ?", as a defense of choice is just as ignorant. Is there really anyone who thinks the answer to this question should drive the decision making ?

@Santos

Why do you hate men that are smarter than you ? Smart, sexy, strong, successful men frighten you ? Talk to your therapist.

Intelligence and Sexuality

Why must there be a connection ? I mean if that's what turns you on, great. But there seems to be this constant drumbeat about how a woman's intelligence should be a sexual attraction. For me it's not.....it's a positive trait, but it's not sexual. And I can say that my IQ has never got any woman hot that I am aware of.

@Rosenkavalier

I meant to post this earlier, but forgot. I don't hate women. I do hate women that blame men for everything that's wrong with their life.

@asehpe

Agreed.....but it certainly seems to deflate the theories posited in the post. Unless all that junk about doing dishes and only women are sluts and men decide everything disappears when your drunk.

@bigguns

I agree with your assessment of group behavior. But even in one on one environments, my experience is there is often an adventurism that is not available in sobriety. I hadn't thought about the urge to belong....to do what others talk about. I really thought it was the unleashing of pent up sexual frustration. From a male perspective, I don't think it has the same effect, other than the inability to finish :)

The Need To Be Desired

Low female desire is based on the female need to be desired. In a long term relationship, women who are no longer desired, lose their own. Read it here =>

How's that for objectifying ?

What About Alcohol ?

Surprised this hasn't come up. Can we all agree alcohol tends to unleash the inner horndog of the female gender ? Why ?

Excuse me, but read much ? Where is it that I got personal with anyone ?

If you want a real analysis of female desire, read this.

@e.salzo

"All men want to bang women to pass on their genes. Men aren't picky on who they sleep with."

This is an incredibly ignorant statement.

Swiffer originating from swifan, meaning how swiftly a woman is distracted when the bill(s) comes due.

I suggest you meet some non-feminist men.

Slut Culture

Sorry...this ones not going away. There may be men that dont mind marrying a slut, but I can assure you, there will always be men that would prefer a woman who has some experience but can count her lovers on one hand. My thinking on this subject was always, if a woman was comfortable with casual sex....than I probably could not trust her to be faithful. And just in case you cry "double standard", I was never comfortable with casual sex.

Pretty Funny Stuff

This is almost funny. First off, how many women really think like this ? From everything I can see, it's less than 10% of the US population. Secondly and more importantly, when are radical feminists going to actually talk to men about these great idea's they have ? Dictating to men about what we should be is not exactly a succesful endeavor, which kind of explains why feminism is no longer on anybody's radar (except that < 10%). So basically, the jist of this post is, feminists have a headache, and everybody else is fine. Is there anything in the world that occurs anymore that's not the patriarchy's fault ?

Back to the Girls

The girl whose body can be impregnated should be responsible to prevent an unwanted pregnancy. Her body, her choice, right? On the other hand, if the boy does not want to be financially responsible for a child for the next 18 years, or wants to protect against STD's then he should cover his stump. At the end of the day it is a women's responsibility to prevent a pregnancy she does not want. It is after all, her body and her choice.
