The Female Disconnect

Hillary supporters like jebldmm need to stop talking about women and talk more about their personal perspective. I can tell you all the woman in my life... wife, mother and 3 sisters all voted for Obama and think Hillary is the problem in this campaign. Yes there has been sexism, but most of that is coming from the other side....where I would expect it to come from. The real question is why are you feminist Hillary supporters so angry ? Most women don't feel the way you do. I think you've had your moment taken from you and now someone's got to pay. Two years from now, I can assure you you'll wish you voted for Obama instead of staying home or voting for McCain. There will be a female president...it just won't be Hillary.

@jebldmm

I am sorry I don't agree with you. I don't mean to minimize what you feel, it's just that I and all the progressive woman around me don't see it that way. Maybe feminists do need their own party.

@LT Bohica

Given your conditions for your vote, I suspect you will be staying home. Although I would support a diverse cabinet, demanding 50% quota's for females in Obama's administration is not going to happen, but thanks for at least defining what your votes worth.

What's Worse ?

Creepy dolls or creepy phallic shaped objects that require batteries ?

Perfect Doll Buyer

Is most likely a guy buying it for a bachelor party as a joke. Although I am sure there is some sad soul out there who might really purchase the "perfect doll", the idea that men want this is a joke....on you ladies. Is there any man or woman reading this that knows of any man who bought a sex doll for real use ?

Original article: Older women: Sexy or scary?

Sexy or Scary

How bout both ? Some sexy, some so scary. Young men go for cougars for one simple reason...easy sex...been there, done that. Don't really want to revisit that thread again. Oh yeah, that BS about older men getting congratulated for bedding a younger woman, that's feminist echo chamber crap. More hypocrisy from the Broadsheet gang. All I ever read about here is how creepy older men are for chasing younger women, and how it like totally makes sense for older women to manipulate younger men.

This Cant Be

Joan said so.

Redux

Since we have already had this debate 10 times over, I refuse to add any more to this subject. Let's all take a deep breath and feel good about the fact that this thing is over in approximately 30 hours (even though it ended months ago). And this time we won't have to worry about hurting Hillary and her supporters feelings. btw....did you see the Hillary's angry mob on Saturday ?...talk about bad for the party. Democratic feminazi's foaming from the mouth on national tv....just great !

Moral to the Story

The moral to this story is don't let facts get in the way of a good story.

The Shoe Study

I am waiting on the scientific study that tests female behavior when confronted with a "Sale on Shoes" sign. Actually for most of the women I know, it doesn't have to be shoes, but that is the ultimate IQ dropper.

Officially Declared Over

All of you in your fantasy world who think Hillary will take this to the convention....nope. The members of the democratic party have bent over backwards so no one would upset poor Hillary. By the end of the week she will be on an island with her husband and Harold Ickes. The democratic leadership, Pelosi, Reid, Carter, Gore, Dean, etc will no longer be talking about treating Hillary with dignity. Her mad rantings, along with her nutjob supporters (if they're not republican plants) will no longer have anyone listening. And Joan ? I guess she doesn't get to be press secretary.

Unprecedented

The Clinton teams lust for power is unprecedented. Never has there been any discussion about the no 2 "earning" the right of VP. Hillary's inner circle of desperation led by people like Davis and Ickes just shows they will do ANYTHING to get back to washington. My recommendation to Barack, don't commit to anything. Pick your VP when it makes sense. Obama and Clinton are not additive. Adding Clinton will cause a hemorrhage of independents to leave Obama and will fire up the Republican base. This will almost certainly guarantee a loss for the democratic ticket. Even if they were somehow able to win, I can't even think about the Clinton's in the white house again....and I voted for Bill twice.

@juliebird

"1. Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania, perhaps Michigan (not to mention W Va and Kentucky) would go blue. That's a lot of electoral votes."

Obama would win Michigan and Pennsylvania without her. I think he can win Florida and Ohio without her, too. Just because Hillary won the Democratic primaries in these states, let's not forget Florida and Ohio have been red the last 2 elections. Don't know how Hillary changes that.

"2. Enough of "the women's vote" "the lunch bucket vote" and "the hispanic vote" to overcome any (perceived) deficiencies in Obama's popularity with those demographics."

Maybe Obama picks up a high percentage of the women's vote. Maybe not, based on a lot of the vitriol. This would be offset by independents and moderates leaving to McCain if Hillary is VP. Also fires up McCains base. Rather see someone like Sebelius added.

3. Her machine: Obama wants Clinton's donors and her connections. HRC on the ticket would make that happen in a heartbeat.

Obama may want Clinton's donors but he doesn't need them. In fact they probably need him more than vice versa.

4. Oh yeah, and a united Democratic Party. What price that?

This party will not be united with HRC. 60% of Obama backers don't want her. I would guess up to 25% of HRC supporters wont vote for Obama. This is an oil and water match.

As for Bill running around the whitehouse...that's not the problem. It's all the other baggage he brings that is inescapable...the library donors, the women, his finances...etc.
