  • What Ladies Like

[Read the article: The ladies love street harassment!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You would think you (radical) feminists at this point would stop talking about what women want or like since generally radical feminist views are shared by a minority of women. I once heard a woman say "everyone likes to be objectified... sometimes". It's fairly straight forward to interpret the difference between a compliment and harassment. Some women, especially in blogs like this, consider any male attention harassment. So be it. FYI...I believe there are reverse brain washing centers you can go to if you need to detox from your women's studies programs.

  • Democrat Doom

[Read the article: Will gay marriage doom the Democrats?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The Democrats will only lose this election if the female Clinton supporters "spurned" by the sexist Democratic party vote against their self interest. Why do I feel like Joan is giving this group cover ? This campaign has gone on for well over a year and Joan still has not written anything substantial about gender. Nice reporting.

Written by a woman....who worked on Hillary's ill fated health care task force.

  • Painful to Watch

[Read the article: She's in it to spin it]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

What we are witnessing is the final meltdown of the Clinton legacy and quite possibly the Democratic party. I'm not so sure I care anymore. Hillary can't win the nomination. If she is given the nomination, she can't win the general election. I am still quite confident she never had a chance to win the general election even before trying to hijack the nomination process. There can be only one goal for her at this point, 2012. Does she really think she can get the nomination and get Obama's supporters to back her ? Laughable. Yes, she will always have the angry white women vote...unfortunately you can't win a national election with the angry white woman vote. If Obama does not win the general election, the Democratic party will never be the same....because Hillary will stand alone in the crosshairs as the reason he lost. If Obama does not get the Democratic nomination...well expect a full revolt. What's really sexist about this campaign is you can't call Hillary out for being a sore loser....unless your SNL.

  • Wrong Measure

[Read the article: Waiting for the first Madam President]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Don't use HRC as the jumping off point of how well woman will do in future presidential elections. Without going into policy issues I would recommend you consider one metric....negative ratings. Hillary started with 50% of the country against her. That's astonishing and the primary reason I was against her candidacy from the beginning. There are numerous women in politics today that don't come near her negatives, and could do quite well nationally. Looking at current governors alone you have Sebelius, Blanco, Napolitano, Granholm ...and those are just the Democrats. Let's not exaggerate Hillary's loss.

  • 2 Things

[Read the article: Can Obama do more than "nudge"?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    End the war.

    Plan for a balanced budget.

This will reduce inflation, drop oil prices, keep interest rates low, stimulate growth and stabilize the dollar. At that point it will be up to americans to get off their credit jones. Take your medicine.

  • Meltdown Continues

[Read the article: Defending campaign, Clinton cites RFK assassination]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

As I posted just 48 hours ago, the meltdown continues. This doesn't take any word twisting. Just read the words. Assassination is not relevant to the discussion, but somehow gets inserted.....again. I feel sorry for the Hillarybots trying to splain. Continue the name calling, continue the ridiculous justifications, its really sad when you look at the simple fact that this race has been over for months.

  • Popular Vote Spin

[Read the article: Defending campaign, Clinton cites RFK assassination]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Include the 2 states that Clinton signed and stated didn't count. Eliminate 4 states that caucus ...presto, "I'm ahead !" To Clinton supporters...at long last, have you left no sense of decency ? Or are you just republicans?

  • Gee Joan

[Read the article: How much will white racism hurt Obama?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

This analysis was done and reported on weeks ago. The difference is where affirmative action has impacted whites. In places like Iowa nad Oregon that hasn't happened...in places like Kentucky and West Virginia it has. Gee what can we gleen from this ? When are you going to report on the vile sexism displayed by the angry white women supporters of Clinton. I think you have an inside view on this.

  • Umm Not Quite

[Read the article: What do you do when a girl is better than the boys?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The issue for parents complaining was that the boys could not treat her like one of the boys. This is hardly the first time this has come up. Basketball is a physical sport, and when you drop a girl in the middle of a boys game, it DOES create problems. Most boys are taught at a very young age not to be rough with girls. On the flip side, girls are taught that it is OK to be rough with boys. Why can't the girl play with older girls ? Problem solved. This is not about skill level as much as you would like it to be.

  • A New Low in Clinton Campaigning

[Read the article: A new low in Clinton bashing]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Should have been the title of your piece. I will be surprised if you have a job at the end of this campaign season.

  • Concern for Obama

[Read the article: A new low in Clinton bashing]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

This is getting quite ridiculous. We are now hearing the Clinton supporters (Joan included) talking about the concern they have that democrats won't come out and vote Obama. These are the same people that encouraged Clinton to stay in the race....all the way. Even when she was virtually eliminated 3 months ago. Even with her underhanded and negative campaign tactics. Does it really take a genius to tell all the Clinton supporters.."That's why Clinton should have dropped out !!!!" Hello ? Is this on ? Is it news to anyone here that long drawn out brutal primaries split the party ? These are the same people (Joan included) that have been saying Clinton staying in the race was good for the party ! Now we have to listen to all the offended angry white females blame Obama supporters for a McCain presidency. Ridiculous.

  • Journalism

[Read the article: A new low in Clinton bashing]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Where did the story come from ? AP That's right the Associated Press was the first to release this story and communicated in a way that would lead anyone who read it to believe the assassination remark was purposeful. Yet once again, it's the Obama campaign's fault. Joan is a broken record.

  • @jebbldmm

[Read the article: Obama, McCain and abortion]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Aren't women the clear majority of the Democratic party ? So, I guess women are unwilling to .....stand up for women ? I think your perspective may be a bit off.
