Original article: Don't get "Fooled Again"

Maybe "Fooled Again" doesn't have much data...but there's plenty of data out there about 2004 fraud

I don't know anything about Mark Crispin Miller's book, but there is some very compelling evidence that the 2004 election was rigged, and it's the statistical analysis of the exit polls. I noticed this discrepancy on election day, but a very respected series of statisticians have all concluded that the likelihood of all the exit-polls being wrong in precisely the same way is 1 in a million, about the same as earth being struck by a previously unidentified meteor---tomorrow. The website showing these very sound studies is:

http://www.donotconcede.com/Dataexitpolls.html and I defy anybody to say that these studies are not scientifically valid. Somebody was tampering with the results of the 2004 election. Somebody has turned the United States government into a secretive and tyrannical enemy of the peace and prosperity of people worldwide (notice that I said "of people"---somebody obviously likes every "person" whose name ends in "Inc."). I feel quite certain that the same "somebody" is involved at all levels---and that "somebody" is either the Bush-Cheney-Rove triumvirate or the "invisible hand" that moves them all and keeps them in power when they should be....elsewhere.

I urge everyone interested in the topic to read the above website and:

Scientific Analysis Suggests Presidential Vote Counts May Have Been Altered

Group of University Professors Urges Investigation of 2004 Election

Officially, President Bush won November's election by 2.5%, yet exit polls showed Kerry winning by 3%[1]. According to a report to

be released today by a group of university statisticians, the odds of a discrepancy this large between the national exit poll and election

results happening by accident are close to 1 in a million.

In other words, by random chance alone, it could not have happened. But it did.

Two alternatives remain. Either something was wrong with the exit polling, or something was wrong with the vote count.

Original article: "V for Vendetta"

I Second joanning & Tom Paine

Just came back from 2nd viewing of V... and I have to say that while I'm normally mad about Stephanie Zacharek's movie review, she got this one all wrong. It's a masterpiece and it will endure. It synthesizes streams of thought flowing from "1984" (the great book and the much less impressive movies), the X-Files, and so much more. I have to say when 9/11 first happened I kind of predicted this movie---I said that Osama bin Laden would be the new Guy Fawkes, and that there'll be a day in his honor someday, especially if they caught him and executed him. The movie is timely AND fascinating because yes, it DOES glorify terror and terrorists at precisely the time when we in the West (Europe & North America) are more afraid of terrorists and terrorism than ever in history. But what is more terrifying, really, than the complete suppression of freedom of expression, freedom of religion, and freedom to live life in the eternally personal pursuit of happiness? And yes the movie is a fantastic affirmation of all that is good in life---the freedom to be who we really are, appreciate beauty, and express the terrible dilema we face when what we fear most is ever being put in fear...V's cruel transformation of Evey---giving her the gift of becoming fearless, is one of the most beautiful expressions of the truest kind of "tough love" I have ever seen---he terrorized her but did not really harm her---and the educational product was stupendous. Go again Stephie! Take another look---you loved "Buffy" and this has all the brilliance of "Buffy", "Angel", and "Serenity" set in THE REAL WORLD. And as one who grew up asking "Penny for the Guy" as a kid before I ever went trick-or-treating---I think the symbolic and historical setting is pretty brilliant also.... But one final point, SZ wrote "Portman is a charming, assured actress, and she's pleasant enough to watch here." Well, I say bollocks to that! Natalie Portman is probably the most beautiful actress alive, and quite possibly the most beautiful woman alive--certainly right up there top ten! She is sculpted like Athena in a Classical Statue...
