It's funny that it never fails that when a minority is self confident, exudes intelligence and won't stoop to the low level, he or she is considered arrogant and an elitist.
Sounds like sour grapes to me: "since I didn't win, I am going to take my money and go home". Shameful, but the truth always comes out. I would respect her more if she just said that she would rather have the Anti Christ than an African American become the president of the United States.
I am an African American woman who is a product of Southwestern PA where there are plenty of racial problems that have been documented for decades.
I went to school with people who worked side by side with my dad at the steel mill and my mom at the local hospital who felt that African Americans were inferior just because.
My mom (a blonde haired blue eyed African American) heard many of their thoughts because some didn't realize that she was an African American and they talked freely around her.
As a result, she had an inside track on how many racists felt. She instilled in me that the only way to rise above this type of demented thought process us was to outdo them in school, and I DID. She told me that I would have to go above and beyond, from the time I was a 1st grader, and I hear myself telling my ten year old daughter the same thing. As an African American female, it was even more important to give 200% to get the same result as those who may have given 75%.
She told me that life wasn't fair, but you have to deal with it, and I DO. She told me that you can't argue with idiots and I DON'T. She told me that no one can take away your education and that is true. I graduated at the top of my class in graduate school and I am pursuing a doctorate on top of that. However, I will not forget my upbringing and how many natives in this area really feel about anyone who is different from them.

What a beautiful day in America!!! God bless the U.S.A.!!!!!
I too am happy that we have a First Lady with curves, but do we really have to put it into an article??????
I am a firm believer of "To Beat the Enemy, you must KNOW the ENEMY", Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Lieberman is like a modern day Bendict Arnold, the Republicans don't want him but used him and the Dems don't trust him. What a miserable, lonely life. Washington D.C. is not the place to not have any friends. He is just a stooge. Join Moe, and Curly, Joe.
With America on the brink of another depression, who has time to listen to these lunatics?
