Original article: Is Ralph Nader losing it?

Ralph Nader did not cost Democrats the election in 2000

Tell us which states absent Nader would have put Gore over the edge? Tell us the the election in 2000 wasn't lost because of Katherine Harris removing black folk from the voter rolls. Tell is it also wasn't lost due to our horrid Supreme Court.

If there weren't such a wide swath of territory to the left of Gore due to the CLINTONS and their policies, not Nader, then there wouldn't have been any room for his candidacy.

I'm so sick of hearing that lie, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised given the source.

Democrats costs Democrats the election in 2000.

Stereotypes

You're awash with your own biases Judy Berman. Perhaps you should take the plank out of your eye before regaling us about ours.

I find it a tad rich that the Bermanator is over here on salon's specially set aside women-o-centric page complete with the pink motif decrying the marketing of Microstuff to women.

Who would write him a check?

Won't he just use the money to take people on golf junkets?

I don't know how he finds the time to run an organization like that given all time he has to devote to stealing from the charities he founded.

Work Sucks. Do what you want?

Why this endless navel gazing about choosing to work or choosing to stay home? Worse yet, so many women seem to be gazing at Someone Else's navel or at least asking society at large to validate whatever choice it is they feel they've made. Worse yet, more often than not the people that get to say what is right and wrong are idiots. Andrea Dworkin is at least as imbalanced as Caitlin Flanagan, but really neither one should have jack sh!t to say about your life.

You have your own row to hoe. Do what you think is best for you and don't let anybody look down on you.

Mutually Exclusive?

Is this some kind of martyr contest here? Can't someone be concerned for males without risking feminist ire? Not all energy has to be focused on wrongs done to females.

WoW

I'm surprised people here don't have more 70s. My wife and I play together - not too much though because it's a game. She is hot, but also a librarian, for what it's worth.

Obama and Reagan

That was a black eye in my book - sucking up to Reagan's legacy should have foreshadowed his opportunistic flip flopping on FISA, but I was also spellbound.

Reagan was an awful person who did more damage to this country than is realized. He had the same contempt for the laws of our land brought to a horrible zenith by Bush and Cheney. He financed nun rapists. He sold crack to our people and missiles to our enemies. He armed Saddam, including the WMD that were missing.

Reagan sucks and Obama's attempt at coziness with Reagan's tarnished legacy speaks more to Obama's political instincts than his steadfast convictions.

I also want to say this: Screw Compromising with fascists. We have seen the shabby governance that it wreaks upon us all. We do not negotiate with those who would undermine what it means to be an American. They must be crushed. This isn't a partisan screed either, because I count Jay Rockefeller, Steny Hoyer, Joe Lieberman and many other so-called Democrats among those who should be crushed.

Ebay?

This is why you don't ever surrender your rights. You will never have them given back to you once taken because politicians are too cautious to roll back our "safety measures."

Try ebay to replace that knife.

The Math

The math is not about gaining votes, it's about the presumptive next President wanting the power, and that is what makes his flip flop all the more chilling.

Blizzard

Blizzard does not not not ban players for buying gold. In fact, it is well known that the top guild for a long time, Death and Taxes, was a regular buyer of gold.

They will ban you for selling it.

Also, if your child is not yet 11, it's a violation of the terms of service for him to play.

response to agee

If your friends or those people you know got their game accounts compromised by having their message board hacked, it means:

1. Their security on their message board was lax, or they failed to update or patch the software. This is stupid.

2. They listed account credentials on their message board, which is stupid.

3. They had username/passwords for insecure message boards that are the same as their game account username/passwords. This is also stupid.

Now, any player of the opposite faction is kill on sight to me. I play on pvp servers. Most of the time, it's live and let live, but I will totally crush any farmer I see repeatedly and without mercy.

Nobody Cares

You did some world class gymnastics for a few years a couple of decades ago, and that gives you the right to denigrate others?

Gymnastics in particular is a sick soup of psychodrama, and you're obviously the kind of arrogant jerkoff who that environment produces.

Here's some of your own crap back at you:

You say you have demons - you don't. You were a privileged arrogant little turd who played at competing but never amounted to much and 20 years later, you're trying to cash in because your life is otherwise bereft of value. You expect us to believe you've really suffered? Not as much as the people around you who had to deal with your petulant entitlement have suffered. That much is certain.

Nobody cared then, and it's certainly too late now for anyone to care. If not for Google and the fact that this is an Olympic year, most people would say "Jennifer Who?"

You're also not a writer. You crap out some whine fest about how hard your life was and that makes you Tolstoy? I think not.
