(and if some of them made a big mess I'd just be flattered at the sign that I was good at the job, not take it as a horrible psychic trauma)

the real question is: how much of the difference in attitudes towards sex between men and women is cultural and how much is innate.

If I could take a drug that would make my dick hard no matter what and was attractive enough that ugly women would pay me to fuck them until they came I honestly don't think it would be a particularly unpleasant way to make a living

why shouldn't I assume that there are at least some women who feel the same way?

"Activities that affect health are no longer private activities" EVERYTHING affects health therefore NOTHING is private

Of course you don't mean this, what you actually DO mean is that nothing SEXUAL should be private and left up to the individuals involved. Only the right kind of sex should be permitted. Apparently the "sexual revolution" was more of a coup. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Or are all guys who patronize such women per se scum.

Is that a serious question? If it is you must be new.

Well in my circle, the women think that any man who goes to a prostitute has zero chances with them. But then my friends rarely have negative experiences with the men they date/marry.

So naturally men are completely honest with them about everything.

Actaully men can be whores too, they just have to be willing to take other "men" for their customers

(or be Brad Pitt then some women MIGHT pay them).

A Blow Job is Better Than No Job

Yes but since men are losing most of the jobs in this recession I wonder who is going to be available to pay and if prices will collapse due to oversupply.

they are skany AND PICKY that is the problem, or it makes it seem worse anyway

if they were as skanky as men are (or wish they could be) AND as tolerant of men as men are of women, it might be easier to take. Actually it would be like it is for gay men, everybody fucks everybody and if two people happen to REALLY like each other then they may take it to another level, otherwise they keep on keepin on.

Where could anyone possibly get the idea that fat storage in men and women is supposed to be equivalent?

Feminist promoters of "strong athletic women" for one. "It's NO PROBLEM when women get so thin and muscular that their periods stop" (of course the total amount of fat on women collectively, or for that matter men and/or children collectively, would be more than enough to make up for all these missing periods hundred of times over)

but I will say if a man doesn't want to have children with a woman, maybe he should keep his pants zipped. Just like women have been told to do for millenia.

how long do you think women will use the conditions of women BEFORE birth control and abortion were legal as a justification for hostile attitudes NOW? Women can separate sex from risk of parenthood, men cannot (at least not without giving up anything that feels like real sex). Why is it that women have so much trouble acknowledging this fact in a straightforward way? Is it: "women have always had the choice between bad sex and no sex so its only fair that men should be in that position too"?

The girls will be fine as they are encouraged to bed their bastard knights in tarnished armor.

Well, better get to polishing I guess. What else ya gonna do?

A woman who eats when she's hungry and stops when satiated isn't overeating. The food is not "excess".

If this results in her being unhealthily fat she sure as hell is overeating. You are right though that it is difficult because peoples minds and bodies evolved to perform at the level of elite athletes in an environment where food was scarce. Is there NO MODERN alternative but the 3 pack a day French or the 400lb waddling/scooter riding Americans?

Saturday, June 20, 2009 11:28 AM

excess means that it is not needed to maintain health, I know women WANT the excess food that is the point

I am certain that men would happily eat ANY diet that would not compromise their health (actually they would do a hell of a lot more than that) if it meant they could fuck anyone they want. Women obviously have entirely different instinctive emotional priorities when it comes to food and sex.

The question is, do people believe this is because men are becoming less and less responsible ? My opinion is this problem is largely due to cultural attitudes towards men in general, increases in female income

It's not "cultural attitudes towards men" in some general sense, it is ALL about increases in female income. When women were completely dependent on money that men could choose to provide or to withhold for their own and their kids survival many men were tyrants. When the money that the man provides is a luxury not a necessity for the woman many women see the luxury of having everything their own way as worth as much or more than the luxury of his voluntary contributions (some contribution will be involuntary). Of course if she has a REAL hard-on for the guy she might give a crap for other reasons but how often does this happen, or at least how often does it endure over the long term.

these are your examples of relevance? "have you ever seen a movie? been to a football game?"

yeah men are relevant...in fantasy entertainment and in Congress, in real life for average people not so much. OF COURSE the word "irrelevant" is an exaggeration. Nannies, mechanics and gardeners are certainly "relevant" to the lives of the people who supervise and employ them.

I'm told that there is a way for men not to become fathers if they don't want the responsibility - use a condom. What - don't even want to step up and do that?

If men had contraception that didn't ruin sex, such as a pill, men would be stepping up so fast that peoples heads would spin, and whole new class of female victims of male perfidy.

as long as the job doesn't end at conception but the ability to have any say over your own life does

there will be a problem either with the job, or, eventually, conception.

Saturday, June 20, 2009 02:03 AM

men would happily give up food they don't need to get sex and women as you are so eloquently illustrating value excess food much more than sex

this should make it as clear as anything that men and women need different things, or at least need then differently.

mia tyler is definitely unhealthily fat, emme based on the picture on her home page, may not be

I thought I had seen pictures of her in the past that suggested otherwise, but it may have been someone else.

you don't have to be morbidyly obese to have many avoidable health problems caused by being too fat

the women you mentioned may be able to hold up this weight ok when they are young but they will definitely have health problems when they are older. It is true that the situation is complex, big bones caused by carrying weight provide some protection against osteoporosis. The real issue is fat to muscle ratio.

exactly, you will look like a wondeful sensitve caring guy who values women for their inner beauty, not some superficial asshole concerned with a nice face and body

when you can fake that you've got it made.

Friday, June 19, 2009 11:59 AM

everyone needs to support themselves AND do an equal share of the child rearing with the person they have kids with regardless of the relationship between the parents

but for there to be ANY possibility of this EVER being able to work women would have to give up the idea that they are the ULTIMATE authority over "their" children. The man has as MUCH to say about it as the mother OR he will particpate less OR he is some form of servant (which will probably always involve some conflict except where someone has a fetish).

Friday, June 19, 2009 11:52 AM

if men were as happy subsituting food for sex as women are then everybody would be fat and asexual and liking it

ok...well I guess I can see that the situation is complex. I wonder if we will ever have the genetic or hormonal knowledge to say some people are this way and some are that way for clearly understandable reasons. For women, fat storage, in anticipation of pregnancy and nursing is probably the instinctive equivalent of sex in some ways in a way that it is not for men.

Friday, June 19, 2009 10:53 AM

Sombody, this was actually a serious analysis, made a plausible claim that if everybody had to squat over a level surface to take a crap

and everyone was raised from birth to do this and expected to do this and the inability to do so was seen as the equivalent of needing a wheelchair and treated as such, the VAST MAJORITY of hip injuries/replacements/damage would never happen/be needed.
