females need female help to successfully reproduce (raise their children to adulthood) almost as much as they need sex (and real help may be harder to get than sex). For this reason females have an instinctive need for non-sexual friends that is almost the equivalent of their need for romantic relationships and sex(or maybe greater). Men don't have this direct instinctive need. Straight men are in little doubt that romance and sex take precedence over other social needs and interactions (the case where men neglect women in order to pursue status enhancing activities is the exception that proves the rule because the ultimate instinctive goal of these activities is more and better relationships with women). Women are "confused" on these points. Not anymore though, you can thank me later.

regard men being forced to shave their beards (or remove mats of back hair) in order to be considered fuckable by most women with the same outrage that they regard women being "forced" to remove body hair. Lets "face" it!, men shave off more hair and perform more skin abrasion than women do, they don't complain and it isn't an issue because for reasons of biology men know they have to work for it, there is no expectation of being loved (only) for yourself.

if it hurt the way you are describing there would be HEAT damage and people aren't signing on for that, besides even if adult women were willing to get burned for beauty (they aren't) no kid would put up with it without screaming BLOODY MURDER and probably causing someone to get arrested. You remind me of the women's studies "proof" that women turn female babies towards them to encourage them to be timid and submissive and hold male babies facing outward in order to encourage them to be outgoing and engaged with the world. Anyone who had ever been around a baby would know that mothers are forced to turn the boys outward to avoid being constantly kicked and punched and to prevent the kid from flinging himself backwards onto the floor.
