  • Scary

[Read the article: "Because I love America ... I have to now stand aside"]

Great this guy is out. This was a truly scary paranoid speech. American culture is in danger because of other cultures, american economy is in danger because of China, american safety is in danger because of jihadists, american morality is in danger because of democrats...

Europe is going decadent because of lack of morality and invasion of aliens.

This speech could have been given by a white suprematist . Yiiks.

  • Obama 's rising

He also won Virgin Islands (also himself forgot them in his speech).

    Four states , four victories.

This speech is interesting . He is responding the critics on selling hope.

Some people start to call him a cult leader, but they are wrong : cult leader turn attention to him and disempower his followers. Obama is empowering people . He is more like a motivation speaker.

  • race again ???

    @ ncawley

You can't keep saying Obama is winning merely because "blacks" vote for him. Look at tonight results : the place where he is doing the LESS interesting result is Louisiana, while he is winning wide in Washington an Nebraska...

  • From 20% below to front runner...

So far, Obama is running the perfect campain.

Such a good strategy is a strenght if he get nominee, for the general elction.

  • MC Cain speech

[Read the article: John McCain's delayed gratification]

Fired up and ready to go", lol. It was the early sentence of Obama campain, before Yes we can.

Mc Cain made numerous allusions to Obama. This alone is a good sign for BO. The republican spots him as the opponent.

    76 % in DC. What a margin !

  • McCain vs Obama

[Read the article: Obama, McCain projected as winners in Maryland ]

Frankly, didn't you fall asleep when McCain was talking ?

I don't see how he can beat Obama. He is bad speaker in meeting and horrible in debates.

Well, at least, it will be a very interesting ideas batlle. Two very different vues of the world.

  • weird ?

You said weird two times. That's weird.

    (Now he IS weird)

I think you're right. Clinton will have trouble coming back without souding like the "hope " breaker, critical, angry one.

I loved this line about Obama speech : "we need to stop not only the war, but the mindset that started the war".

    This guy thinks deep.

The McCain/Obama debates will be fascinating and delightful, if he is selected.

  • old speech

[Read the article: McCain targets Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

What strikes me about McCain speech is that , except for the (fair) attacks on Obama, there was nothing I haven't heard since years from republican/right side.

It's not Clinton, it's McCain. Loosing his temper like he will on debates against Obama.

  • No so good speech

[Read the article: Calls come in for Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

He had done better. I thnk it was hesitating, careful and too long. he seems to be very tired !

Anyway, big win for him. The exit pools give the votes to white women and elders...Clinton people...yet he wins big !

I think he won't have that much trouble in Texas/Ohio.

  • fast learner as SocsandTwigs says

[Read the article: Can Obama survive the "Freak Show"?]

I'm watching CNN debate, and remember how dull he was sounding just four debates before.

Look, this guy wasn't existing two monthes ago. In some states people didn't know his name. Now he is on the verge on being the democrat nominee.

He hasn't make one mistake, one false step.

He is a political animal, and I am not the least concern about his hability to dance with the republicans the way he had dance himself to the nomination with Clinton.
