Are you actually serious? Or is your writing parody? It's a bit difficult to tell, since it's over-the-top either way. I wonder what it is you are expecting to accomplish?

This election comes at a time that the country has gone quite far down a dangerous path (it started on that path no later than 2000 when GWB got installed in the whitehouse). I think most people can see that we're in a very shaky state. So, if you're serious, would you consider writing seriously? If your writing is parody, it doesn't accomplish what good satire can (satire can be an excellent way to get people to think). Clearly, you take the time to write and post, and it wouldn't hurt anyone, including yourself, to respond more thoughtfully.

You're not the only one being frivolous here, but you're one of the more prolific posters being frivolous. It would be nice if there were more rational postings here, then maybe we could all learn something. Blind supporters of any candidate do nothing to help their candidate win.

Myself, I'm trying to reconcile myself to Obama being our nominee. I really don't think he's the best choice right now, but I do believe he's far better than McCain. I'm sure I'm not the only one in this position. I want Clinton to win, but at this point, I don't see how she can, and I'm not sure her winning by superdelegates alone has enough legitimacy, unless Obama stumbles very badly (and I personally don't think Wright is that big a deal, to me he's just another loud-mouthed preacher, and being an atheist, I take him with a grain of salt). In my view, Obama has not stumbled very badly so far. I think he's benefitted more from the irrational hatred toward the Clintons than would happen were the media more rational.

My main beef with Obama is his "reaching-across-the-aisle" rhetoric. Most of the people on the other side of the aisle are responsible for where we are right now. Compromising with them just prolongs the problems we're having, and frankly, makes me think that if you compromise, you don't really believe in your own values. Compromise on things that don't matter, never on real values.

I'm talking about the lack of content in your postings, or else just bashing Ms. Walsh or other people here who may or may not disagree with you. I personally think Ms. Walsh is a little too media-centric, and doesn't realize just how much of a horrible effect they're having. Rev. Wright is a side-show, I wish she'd write more about media idiocy from her vantage point, as Glenn Greenwald does from his (very different) vantage point. It can't be hammered enough.

Perhaps you're just having fun and I'm being too serious, but I'm very worried about the state we're in, and have difficulty finding anything fun about it. Still, perhaps it's unfair of me to criticize you for it. You (and anyone else) has the right to say whatever it is they'd like to say.

You obviously have something to say, and apparently at least some time to say it, I'm just asking you to write it with some more substance. Food fights with other people are pretty useless, overall, and there's too much of it on the internet already, so I was hoping you'd engage more with substance. I've seen several of your posts, but don't know why you support Obama. What in his record and what actions has he taken to earn your support? Has he really earned your support? Are there things you think he could do better to win over Clinton supporters like myself? I support Clinton, but will vote for Obama if he's the nominee. I support her because I think she's a far-better-known quantity, and I think she's more likely to accomplish things that I'd like to see accomplished. Obama has not been in office long enough, or done enough for me to make him my first choice at this time. He seems unsteady with what to me is quite mild attacks, and that worries me, since he's the likely nominee and I'd want him to win. Doesn't it worry you?

The reason I didn't bother with the other poster (and some of the others here) is that it was so ridiculous as to not be worth responding to in any way (I've found that people who behave as trolls are best ignored). I did not think you were ridiculous, that's why I wrote, plus I was curious if you were serious or if your writing is parody, so much of it seems it could go either way, especially since so many of your posts are just one-liners.

Anyway, you certainly have no obligation to answer.
