Poor Joan, Fanning the Flames of Racism

Joan has hit bottom with her accretion that "Obama steadily lost support among white voters during this long, hot summer of hate". Poor Joan, in her very weak and pathetic attempt to justify why Caucasian Americans are racists goes radical like other racism circus ring masters. You would have thought that Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson wrote this literary piece of refuse.

Instead could it be that President Obamas greatness number of supporters, the Caucasian Americans, now realizes that he is not the right choice for President?

Excellent Article

Excellent article Mr. Sirota. I would give you a Pulitzer prize. This is the type of truthful and factual investigative journelism so lacking in the media.

In regards to your mentioning that Bloomburg is a billionaire is so relevant. Simply put with all his money and since he wanted the dam yankees, he should have paid for the stadium himself. This is while NYC robs from its residents in the form of city income tax, this crook has the audacity to rob from its hard working and suffering residents. Keep up this type of reporting, we true Americans need it badly.

More Welfare

Welfare of a different color. We poor slobs work for the benefit of illegitimate children and their moms, disability cheats, insurance cheats and now we have professional (if you can steroid that) sports cheats.

It always amazes me how the super rich like Bloomburg made there money. Looks like a different form of prostitution, except a real prostitute can take a bath, whores like Bloomburg cannot.

Please send this article to President - elect Obama

President Bush inherited a peaceful, prosperous America. That sounds absolutely wonderful if only it were true.

In regards to peaceful that is hardly true. Give credit to President Jimmy Carter for his inability to declare war on Iran in 1979 for their act of war against America. Iran can get most of the credit for this Islamic Jihad disease that the civilized world has to deal with thanks to Carter, not President Bush.

In regards to prosperous, the downfall credit is hardly President Bush’s. All those crooked politicians (do the research who was on the take, you will not find President Bush on the list) taking handouts particularly from Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac, all the crooks financial market and last but not least all the incompetent and lazy Americans who bought houses they could not afford and ran up credit bills for junk they just had to have, but could never pay for. Funny, I do not remember President Bush falling into any of those categories.

Finally, please send this article to President – elect Obama so he is not made to be a patsy for the crooks in four years.

Why?

"Why do Feinstein and Wyden sound much different on the torture issue now?" Could it be they (the Democrats are in power) do not have President Bush to lay blame on any longer? Could it be that these prisoners are not so innocent? Could it be that if they are set free, they will retaliate with a vengeance? With President Bush and his administration leaving, after all the partying next month I suspect that allot of sobering up is about to happen in the Capital!

@ Klytus

I do not remember those WMD's failing out of Saddam when he was swinging from the rope. Did I miss something?

Seriously, yes or no, did Saddam have WMD’s? The answer is yes. The toxicology reports are available on the Iranians and Kurds he killed. He played a game with the weapons inspectors by being evasive and disingenuous when they tried to verify if he did or did not have WMD’s. So if he did not have them, why did not Saddam go to the United Nations and prove his case against America rather than hide in his spider hole?

Some wonder why he did not use WMD’s during the 1991 Gulf War. The doctrine of the United States of America is to not use WMD’s first, but use them in retaliation if the enemy uses them first. Ever wonder why we had all those nuclear capable submarines in the Red Sea and other waters near Iraq? Saddam knew if he used chemical or biological agents he would have been nuked.

I served in three foreign conflicts and I was not ready for war! So I will cut President Bush a break and hope to God President- elect Obama does not have to answer the question if he is ready for war.

What Weapons of Mass Destruction?

The real question is where did all the weapons of mass destruction (WMD) go? It is fact that Iraq under Saddam Hussein did posses and use WMD’s. Undeniable truth lies in Saddam's use of WMD’s most notably against the Iranians and the Kurds. So if it was a fact Saddam had WMD’s, where did they go? Did Saddam use them all up, did he destroy them, did he hide them, or did he give them away? That appears to be more important question.

Unfortunately Saddam brought this upon himself for using WMD’s. Because of that fact, Saddam was the target of UN inspectors that he was less than cooperative with and raised suspicion. Additionally it was bad timing on his part due to the September 11, 2001 attack against America. Back then a majority of Americans were out for revenge. Sadly many today are too cowardly to admit that and play the blame game to shirk off responsibility onto President Bush. No ones the blame except Saddam, and for that he was hung. Fortunately for the people of Iraq, their violent dictator is gone along with all the WMD’s. But then are the WMD’s really gone?
