[Read more letters about this article: Here]McPeak was challenging comments of BIll Clintons. Slick Willie said "we have two candidates that are proud of their country." We all know Bill knows what message he wants to put out. He knew that the right wingers were questioning Obama's patriotism. His wife had recentlytalked about the qualifications of her and McCain.
Is it not reasonable to beleive the "two" patriot candidates who will have a great debate which Bill was hinting at were Hillary and McCain and not Obama?

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Didn't many Christians celebrate Easter. If I am clear if we were treating Obama like Jesus we would be crying crucify him. It is the Hillary supporters who keep saying Obama is too inexperienced so Hillary should be annointed the crown. Hillary supporters say Obama should wait his turn,Hillary has been in politics longer so vote for her because she has seniority.
The Clinton camp even calls anyone who thinks for themselves Judas. Who did Judas betray? No the only ones who are caught in the clouds are Hillary supporters.
Obama supporters see who has raised the most money, run the best campaign, and articulates the hopes of the country. In fact it is the same message Hillary's husband ran on years ago. Rememeber "The Man From Hope."
By the way has any Hillary supporter ever asked themselves why Gore was so upset with Clintons that he would not even run on their record. Gore even picked a running mate who was the first democrat to speak against Clinton. Gore some say lost because he did not embrace Clinton. Could it be that Gore did not want Clinton business as usual?

Are the 90% of African-Americans voting for Obama in the upper class? Are most of the students voting for Obama the upper class? To both questions I would say no. Many of the students voting for Obama are students whose parents have to take out loans to send their kids to school. Many of those parents are probably having trouble holding on to their homes,pay the college loan,high gas prices and other credit cards.
It seems to me that Obama is already getting most of the so-called working class. If we are specific he needs to just get more of the white male vote.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]The insults that are flying on this site make you laugh to keep from crying. It shows how no one hears anything. Both sides make good points but few on either side listens.
Hillary supporters seem to view all the Obama supporters as stupid pie in the sky idol worshippers and Obama supporters view the Hillary supporters as angry,racist. The sad part is that when McCain wins all of us will suffer and this great country we once knew will be made the worst.
Again, I say Osama Bin laden's plan was not to win a military battle. He is trying to do what the Taliban did to the old Soviet Union. He is going to bankrupt our country. Bush and his boys made a military blunder which is now costing us 12 Billion dollars a day. Breemer lost,let me say a again, lost 8 billion dollars in the beginning of the war. Those blunders have basically lead to a tax through the higher prices of services and goods.
Most importantly is the harm this war has done to our men and women. Families are split up and divorce among those in the service are raising. More of these men and women are being diagnosed with mental issues. The cost to treat these men and women is going to be astronomical. Now some are saying they will vote for McCain who wants to keep this going and possible go into Iran. This is not funny ladies and gentleman.
McCain says he will follow the lead of Bush and Cheney and stay in Iraq thus our economy will suffer even more. If we were playing chess Osama now has us in "Check." A vote for McCain is vote for Osama and "Checkmate."
The GOP is about to fool us again. Lets see how did Bush put it "Fool me once sha...me on me." "Fool me twice,,huh..huh. Lets not get fooled again by these fools.

It was Blacks that Pushed LBJ

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Kate is as lost as Hillary. The reason the Democratic Party and LBJ even thought about the civil rights bill was because black people pushed them to recognize it.
The March on Washington, Fannie Lue Hamer, and the voting registration of blacks througout through out the south forced the hands of politicians like LBJ. He was only able to so call "slam through" the civil rights bill because the black power movement in the 60's were boycotting,threatning to riot,and use their voting power.
Hillary did try to down play the role of what the civil rights movement and Dr. King did to get LBJ to move. He would have never did anything if his hand was not forced.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]She has failed every test. She lied when she did not even have to lie. She cannot run a campaign (in debt). Why won't she say how much she raised?
She is a hypocrite. She wanted Barack to denounce Farrahkhan but would not denounce the Latino woman's ill fated comments. In 1993-94 when she had the backing of the President,senate and house she could not pass universal health care.
Is it any wonder she now likens herself to Rocky a fictional charecter. She is great at fiction and make believe stories.
