Obama back on top
[Read the article: The Democrats' anti-momentum]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The Polls once again show Sen. Obama's a winner. As much bad press as Obama has recieved by Salon and the "liberal media" he still keeps winning. The crowds keep getting bigger he still keeps raising money.
Hillary and her camp say they have more experience, have solutions over speeches and are ready for the first day but they can't beat a Jr. Senator, empty suit, plagerist, who is nothing but a racist. LoL!
I think most people are seeing through the haters and in the general election McCain will be taken apart. 4000 dead and economy going south,Osama still not caught, forclosers, rising health care and education cost,McCain linking himself to Bush, and changing his stance on immigration when faced with defections from the right is a record he cannot run from and a debate he cannot win.
You see Obama does not have to throw the kitchen sink to win he will just expose his record. Obama is appealing to the best in Americans. As for Shawn and others that keep trying to make a moral equivalence with Trinty and the KKK that is just stupid. Trinty members nor their pastor ever bombed churches and killed children, they never lynched whites, they never blocked accesss to schools or hospitals, they never dragged people to death and they never advocated voting against a person because they were white. In fact when Bill Clinton needed support during his worst time in office he sought out the very people he tried to throw under the bus Jessie Jackson and Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Bankrupt
[Read the article: Rev. Jeremiah Wright isn't the problem]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Osama Bin Laden's plan was not just to kill Americans but to bankrupt America by keeping us in a protracted war. Bin Laden and Bush were in a game of chess.
Bin laden wanted to draw us into Afganistan where he believes he could beat us in the mountains and drain us economically. Bush tried to counter by going into Iraq with a false WMD claim and seize the oil to pay for the war. Cheney and Rumsfield thought we could fight this war on the cheap and not put more troops to secure the peace.
Their plans went sour when the civil war broke out and now Bin Laden has America in check. Our economy is on the verge of going bust. Our troops are extended to the point of exhustion, America is divided and some people have the nerve to get upset over a preacher in the pulpit.
We have much bigger issues. Obama was trying to focus on the bigger picture but the media and those that play on the politics of fear knew that America is always distracted on the race issue. Afhganistan is the major importer of cocaine and we are arguing over a preacher who said the same thing as a former mililtary man said about our foreign policy. A policy tht was formed back in the 90's by a group of people that were determined to get their hands on that oil. Cheney when interviewed last week when told that 2/3 of the American people were against the war replied "so."
He and Bush could care less about the American people and some are on this site have the nerve to care about Rev. Wright's patriotism! Rev. Wright did not get us into a war. Rev. Wright did not give tax cuts to the rich. Rev. Wright did not give us No Child Left Behind, high gas prices, and bad press and relationships around the world. 'Get a gripe people! Rev. Wright unlike many of you and Bush and Cheney fought for this country.
