Please, while I'm sure there are some young frat boys who will vote with their groin this article is a waste of time, will help take focus off the real problems with McCain and Palin, and will provide fodder for the suddenly feminist Republicans.
But we don't expect good sound judgement from Kamiya, do we:

Our prime minister called and election 2 weeks ago:
1. The election is to be held on Oct. 14th, 3 weeks before the American election. Only 6 weeks of campaigning, which is plenty.
2. No debates over which pig is wearing lipstick, who is wearing a flag pin, whose teenage daughter is pregnant, the hidden meaning behind someone's middle name, whose preacher said what etc.
3. The government ensures everyone is registered to vote. No "registration drives" necessary.
4. On election day, you show up, show your card, check a box.
5. Every vote is counted.
6. The results are clear.
7. Election over.
Why are American elections such clusterfucks?
How about just ignoring Katie Couric and watching/listening to Democracy Now for real news. Last time I checked, Amy Goodman was more concerned with getting a good story than how sexy Navy Seals are.
Am not holding out for any tough questions from Katie Couric, but then, I wasn't from Charlie Gibson and he asked at least a couple of toughies. (and "what do you think of the Bush Doctrine" turned out to be a toughie. Who knew?
We've known for awhile that she did state business with her Yahoo account to keep things secret so she would be off the hook if anyone came looking for scandals, but being hacked raises another question--what confidential information was she trusting with Yahoo's servers and is it a sign of good governance that she did this, instead of using her .gov account?
Not that I'm saying government servers cannot be hacked, but at least the government's IT department has a mandate to protect government information. Why was she trusting Yahoo? What is she were vice president (or president)--would she discuss CIA matters using her Yahoo account?
Count me in with the "No More Palin!" people. What is this obsession?
Sure, if any new lies arise, report on them, but quite analyzing every angle and help Obama win by stories about the issue that will win him the election--the economy.
Why will Obama and his team do better on the economy? What share of the blame for the current state of things does McCain have? Why are McCain's policies destructive?
These are the stories that need be written, read and shared.
Why?
1. Evangelicals and their ilk will be voting Palin unless she starts breathing fire and reciting Beatles songs backwards on TV.
2. Sensible people have already had plenty of material to read on Palin, decided she is not fit to serve, and will not be voting for the Republican ticket.
3. The rest are for the most part not paying attention, and mainly worried about their pocketbook. The only thing that will sway them is evidence about who which make their wallet fatter and who will not.
There are 6 weeks left, use them wisely. It is important.

While I have no doubt this happens, if she had ethical misgivings about this should would have got up and left. She was volunteering, not a writer desperate for cash working for the campaign. What was her motivation?
Pretty good, but the answer to the foreign policy experience question wasn't as funny as Palin's actual response. But the comedy bar was set pretty high on that one.
If your standard is the low bar she set in her TV interviews then she probably did better. But that is no way to measure a candidate.
The first part was close and Biden got temporarily mired in Senate speak. But, other than that, if you knew nothing of Palin's horrible TV performance and were asked to watch that debate, how was it even remotely close:
-she completely didn't answer several questions (Ifil should have pressed more).
-she showed she wasn't self aware--didn't answer "achilles heel Question", didn't really answer "time she changed her mind" question.
-she repeated "Maverick" how many times? The CNN meter dropped a little when she did that--it is tired. And Biden destroyed the "Maverick" idea at the end of the debate. Not good for Palin, since she kept saying it over and over, and the CNN showed that people already suspected this was BS.
-Biden specifically answered the questions without hesititating--showing he knows his stuff. He even won on emotional moments
-Palin looked stiff and nervous for much of the debate. She kept shuffling her notes, looking for the right answer. She made big gaffes "Main Street is toxic to Wall Street"--"we want John McCain to leave, er, lead".
Could go on and on. Big win for Biden.
