Original article: The bicycle thief

These roads were built with federal and state dollars out of oil (asphalt-road equipment fuel) - to have oil leaks, oiled exhaust, synthetic rubber tires (oil) (Thank you bicycle tires:)) - all burn into them

Coolest thing though.....South Mountain Preserve has Silent Sundays, bring your bike and ride the center line, it's free and fun! Ride up to the summit or ride 8 miles in and out, a nice 16 mile ride, add more if you want.

-- jilledup

The federal government will not subsidize your bike-paths, go buy you own, I did, or go to Camp David like I do.

Otherwise quite devaluing my sponsors trickle-down oil-profit stream!

If I fly again I will wear

Mesh shorts over a modest thong, (think Brazillion)

and a mesh half-tee - matching, mind you,

and I am a hott slightly overweight (8 pounds)specimen of the ejaculating half of the species...and I will not cover up...I'll sue go-damn-mit.

Original article: Breaking the Iraq stalemate

I can only imagine one solution ending the war son

A Lot of us have to die,

Want to start over a country the size of America with a coup'?

What a mess that will be...

So just ignore the war,

Watch corporate America crumble,

Raise your children to make their own decisions,

The pendelum will swing,

The angry prosecutors will rise up in their youthful idealism and clean from the top down - until they get corrupted,

The narcissistic thieves of the elderly (Conservatives remember savings and loan deregulation) and the boon that was to members of the Political/Law class who knew that was legalized theft of the naive elderly...

(A bush windfall for one of the brothers), this housing bubble caused by a profitable tax law change of benefit to those who were told it was coming.

...there will be another law/ruse passed when their greed peaks soon, and they will steal from the working class again...enjoy...

Many will spend their last days in a prision of poverty (comparitively speaking) and die a wasted husk of rotting flesh, after uncaringely harming their species

and nothing much will change cept technology and privacy...

It will have to get a whole lot worse before it even begins to get better...your children and grand-children will revel in the challenge to their freedom and their lives. They may not have time to write letters to the editor.

Original article: Bush's stairway to paradise

One more time...

My most fervent hope

... is that, once out of office, Bush starts hitting the bottle again and ends his days as a broken-down drunk, so embarrassingly awful that even Poppy's pals won't stick him on their boards or prop him up in any of their businesses. I hope he's such a drunken loser that Laura divorces him, and the twins disown him and even write tell-all books with countless cringeworthy anecdotes about what a clueless creep he is, and how things really go down during those inevitably tense Thanksgiving dinners. I want there to be dozens of YouTube phone-cam videos of him stumbling drunk and completely losing it and embarrassing himself in the worst possible ways, with millions and millions of hits. I want every city where he wants to put his Presidamental library to refuse to host it, so that he's forced to put it in Guantanamo Bay.

That's my fantasy, and it's what gets me through these dark days. If I believed in the hereafter, maybe I'd wish for him to burn in hell, but I don't. I just want his chickens to come home and ROOST.

Mannnn....what an accurate estimation...you must be a fortune teller...

drama with the potential of accuracy...

all he needs is a little push...

maybe just Totally ignore him after his Empirancy...and let him drown in his own poisonious phlegm...!

This letter doesn't recognize the 30% of anti-AlQuedia Christians? Oh yeh, it is sarcasm, sorry,

It's not a new phase ...

... it's just his personality. He has always been this way. But there is more and more cognitive dissonance involved every day, and that's what Blumenthal is mostly describing.

What I don't understand at all is the 30% who still fall for the whole charade.

Anon

There are plenty of the ones I described who, very, very much enjoy this 'war' and hope that this 'war' does not end in their lifetime...

and they vote for...

someone?

Oh, I have a poll on this 'support for the war' issue

Seems roughly about 30 percent like what this does for their personal affect and portfolio.

Good point Anon

I wonder why some/(many influencing) in our executive branch - seem to want to - do those very things, you described as motivations of errant pariahs...

Otherwise, is there / was there, not a better way to go about this?

I am taking an 'extreme centrist position' because there isn't one vocalized yet, ie... reconciliation for the good of our spawn,

They (our spawn) can get more radical in their offense to this ethereal 'enemy' if necessary, ‘they’ can handle domestic terrorism,

We do not have to - head it off at the pass - for them, and create a stronger enemy,

I think - we have made the enemy stronger, through bullheaded shallow Executive Deciderisms.

We really did not need to get quite so paranoid....Our president and his staff were demonstrably paranoid before they were even elected...
