We need to protect these brave Americans

This joint letter from the Iraq should be the lead story on the front page of every newspaper and in every TV and radio news show in America.

It’s already been said that we need to do everything we can to protect these sergeants. To cover their bravery they said, “We need not talk about our morale. As committed soldiers, we will see this mission through.”

That will not be enough protection to keep the heinous Neocons and Bush Administration from going after them. Congress is not in session so their possible protection may be too late. The M$M could provide a cloud of protection that could make up to some degree their guilt in letting this war happen. It would only be a cloud and not a wall if they have violated the Uniform Code of Military Justice and I am not enough of an expert to know whether that has happened or not.

During the efforts to end the Vietnam War, some of the most effective protests were done by people on active duty or those who went to jail or fled the country to avoid the draft. I have been hoping that someone on active duty would be brave enough to do what these wonderful Americans have done. We all need to do whatever we can to protect these brave soldiers who have so honored our nation and its ideals.

We need to protect these brave Americans

I posted the following at Joan Walsh’s article about the seven sergeants and since some may not see it there, I’m posting it here too.

That will not be enough protection to keep the heinous Neocons and Bush Administration from going after them. Congress is not in session so their possible protection by Dems in congress may be too late.
