Okay, you go first.
Waiting.
Waiting.
Hey, I'm not as young as I used to be (at 27)!
underdeveloped thinkers
That's the problem with self-diagnosis; it's self-diagnosing.
You need a Willie Wonka magic ticket. PDS and I know where you can get one, even if it only reads You lose, you win nothing, etc. etc.
(Lord, thank heavens for the oompa loompa-flavored Advils which keep me going)
K: I intentionally invoked her instead of he
No!
Keep your enemies close, keep your friends guessing and keep the in-laws on the other side of the continent, where they'll have a harder time borrowing money.
Who was it that said that? Sun Tzu, Ghengis Khan, or was it Little Lord Fauntleroy?
2. Gay people have the same right to marry a person of the opposite sex as everyone else does.
I think I must've missed something.
A person who is not gay cannot marry a person of the same sex either.
Wait. What? Is this one of those "I think therefore I am" postulates?
Why would someone like me (heterosexual) want to marry a person of the same sex?
Well, I'd imagine you wouldn't since your heterosexual.
You see, you are assuming that ...
I'm not assuming anything. I'm saying people have the right to live their lives as they see fit.
Can I marry my sister, then?
It's okay by me. And let me add that while you're doing that, I'll marry 500 hundred women, a dog, a horse, a goat and the little kid next door.
There. I think that covers it.
The dickery will be your downfall.
I don't like all this "dickery" talk. After all, I am trying to marry a horse (and goat, et. al.). Oh, and my sister has intentions toward my motorcycle (I've seen her expression and, believe me, it's a little frightening).
That is so generous of him -- to grant us the opportunity to grow and shape ourselves in the soothing equilibrium of his image. All we need to do is renounce all of these "beliefs" and dirty, rabid "principles" -- the poisonous fruits of IDEOLOGY -- that are such wretched anchors in the pre-Obama past, holding us back from reaching our true potentials as transcendent pragmatic post-partisans.
Perfect response. The only one I can think of that'd respond as well is, well, me!
And for those who are offended by my blasphemy, let me say that, Goddamnit!, I'm trying! (And I really am. It's just that I'm emotional)
The attacks on Obama becuase he can deal with white bigots like Warren and others is revealing ...
Yeah, great way of dealing with "white bigots like Warren...."
Invite them to your inauguration, fete them, honor them, and celebrate them (and any other "thems"). Wow, that'll teach those bigots.
Just think, the Civil War could've been won without a shot being fired had Lincoln only brought into the White House those bigots from the South, and wined and dined them. Damn! What was everyone thinking!
T3 You're on a roll tonight.
I think I am.
I wish I hadn't run out of Wellbutrin (but thank God for Xanax). Now if only I could control my blasphemy (Great Zeus! it's happening again!)
There is nothing even remotely extreme about Warren's remarks about abortion and comparing it to the Holocaust. If killing an unborn child is just as much a murder as is killing an innocent civilian in wartime, then abortions constitute 16,000,000 murders in the United States in a period of only approximately four years. This exceeds the numbers of Jewish and other persons that were mass murdered by the Nazi regime during World War II.
So what're you doing about it? If it's the same as the Holocaust well, by God, you'd better be willing to risk life and limb. Or is this just rhetorical horseshit? I think it is. People like you talk tough but do nothing. Am I wrong?
Ignore this piece of wasted skin.
I'm certain you're referring to GBT. Nevertheless, that's Klingon-talk, so I'm there. (Still, my mind is in motion, which is Dune-talk, but, you know ...)
Your forgot to say the magic words:
It is by will alone I set my mind in motion ...
Why would you believe that I am talking about GBT? Do you believe GBT is a piece of wasted skin?
I do not. I would not. But I would lol, lol, lol. Does that count?
Okay, thanks, GBT I think I have a pretty good grasp of your position. And having grasped it, I think, pretty thoroughly, please excuse me while I slather a lot of hexachlorophine on my hands and rinse with plenty of hot water. This is no time for Dr. Bonner and his dilute, dilute, dilute. Anybody got a spare autoclave? Thanks again, GBT.
If you only knew how I laughed.
You know what's really funny? Glenn writes a column about how people are far too blindly, unquestioningly loyal to Obama. Then, here in the comments section, Glenn's fans deliver a series of blindly, unquestioningly loyal responses to Glenn. Irony: I'm lovin' it!
Yeah, that's hilarious. I, for one, am blindly, unquestionably hungry for Carl's Jr.
God, where did that come from?
It must be a mis-fired Pavlovian response to blind and unquestioning unquestionalability.
Answer the question
No one has addressed the question I raised about 100 letters back. If Obama selected Bishop Gene Robinson who was formerly married to a woman and has children, but is now openly gay and has a civil union and who once said "I always wanted to be a June bride", would you all be happy? Would this be a good choice?
Sorry, I meant to answer your question "about 100 letters back."
Who the fuck cares?
I hope that answers it.
