  • The real Truth is merely out of print

[Read the article: The top five books on the Kennedy assassination]

There is a book out of print but still available (I just Googled it and ordered another copy), that is the only true explanation not based on theory or conjecture. The author was personally involved with any of the subjects, and personally interviewed the assassin. The title is "Appointment in Dallas" and provides a kind of central theme-connector for those familiar with the CIA / Mafia / Bush Family / Invisible Gov't., etc., understanding of our times. Hint: 'they' are finally in positions of unchecked decision-making power and have no intention of ever letting go.

  • Options

    Thank you sickduck.

    And thank you Garrison!

I have been warmed and enlightened by everything you have ever written or spoken. Such insight and erudition, a feast for my brain and heart, my Soul, if you will.

And "Ironwhatever" (I forgot already, a fitting tribute to your own impact on my intellect) the world is filled with options.

You and BushCo could actually start with the Bible, the very book those morally bankrupt morons use to beat the hopelessly hopeful into submission, and use to justify their own lack of higher reasoning.

Only a diehard recalcitrant NeoCon would follow these clowns any further than the next election, and then, only for the promised payday for the properly invested: Halliburton, Carlyle Group, ad nauseum

  • Long story short

[Read the article: I used to be funny, but now I'm boring and self-conscious]

Once upon a time (just a few years ago) a psychlogist took a number of plane trips. During those trips he engaged his seatmates in conversation by asking them, warmly and sincerely, all about them. Every time a personal fact was offered, he delved deeper into the minutae that makes us all so fascinating. He never once proffered his own personal information of any kind. At the end of each flight, a co-conspirator, if you will, interviewed each of the subjects. Every one was effusive in their praise of what a genuinely wonderful person his new friend was. Warm and kind and sensitive, fascinating and funny and all the other things we "try" to be. But, aside from his first name, they knew absolutely nothing personal about him. Questions asked covered the spectrum of social imteraction: What was his last name? Where was he from? What did he "do"? Any distinguishing characteristics at all? All were answered with variations of "Gee, I don't really know." All anyone remembered about him was that they believed they had made a friend. Okay now?

  • Max Cleland, a man for our times

[Read the article: "I've been in combat too long"]

So what if he doesn't look like the guy in "The Incredibles".

A stronger, braver man, actually worthy of the appelation "Hero", would be hard to find - and damned near impossible in what passes lately for the Republican party.

It is inconeivable to me that the people who fell for the Rove/Rummy neo-con agenda, and propaganda, will not see their own folly come the 2006 & 2008 elections. Of course, that's conceding that we will be allowed to have an election, should too many people on both sides continue to awaken. There are real signs that "The People" - not the conservative noise machine, but the people it's directed at - are finally beginning to "get it". Everyday folks are leaving the O'Reilly / Hannity / Coulter camp for the likes of John Stewart, Keith Olbermann, Lou Dobbs. A little personal pain can be very inspirational. One tends to seek clarity in order to assure it doesn't return after it's gone.

The religious, patriotic, Conservative Republican, hard working and tax paying great American Middle Class, is finally beginning to see the light and realize they have been bull-shitted by the best and are being screwed royally. A straightforward - even a pissed off - Max Clellan, is exactly the kind of guy they, and we, are looking for.

Don't give up, Max. Methinks you have verbalized the heart of a sleeping giant - many of us have previously taken that oath to protect this country from ALL enemies, "...both foreign and domestic."

Right beside you, brother. And we are hardly alone, or even the minority, anymore.

  • Godman & "Prayer"

[Read the article: Tom the Dancing Bug]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Just for the enlightenment of us all:

"True 'prayer' is a longing of the heart. It does not require repetition, or even words or sounds, simply a heartfelt desire for the perfection of the beloved to be made manifest. Remember, God is Love, and only in love and compassion can you even begin to understand the needs or desires of an eternal soul in it's experiences."

Never-mind where that comes from! It's Source is always deep within you. Worth the journey - have a helluva day!

  • Bill, Hillary & Iraq

[Read the article: Bill, Hillary and Iraq]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Quite simply, George Bush was able to get people and congress to show support for his "use of force" by blatantly lying to congress and "we the people", asserting that he would use force ONLY as "a last resort".

It was already obvious, to those of us who bothered to investigate PNAC from as far back as the Clinton Administration, that they always had every intention of invading Iraq. Just as it is now becoming evident, to those who missed it at first, that they have no "exit plan" because they NEVER had any intention of leaving. Even die-hard republican loyalists are now trying to stomach this appalling, but long evident to "those who have eyes to see", use of American suffering to further a very personal (and extremely profitable!) transparent agenda.
