Joan, may I ask why you do not call out Mike or Chris about

their favors to Rivkin (or Gaffney when David Corn is on)? The amount of airtime for you was way less than for Rivkin, very obviously less.

Tell it like it is, Joan. You deserve equal time for oh so many reasons. Why is that not part of your agreement to be on this show? Do Rivkin and Gaffney request more time in order to appear?

Better to get the equal, publicly, than grace the show at all! Because they are diminishing you and what you say by giving Rivkin the preferential amount of time.

I applaud Obama's decision to RTMs. However, the "just following orders" people are still

torturing for the US at Guatanamo and they are still working at the DOJ (why are Bush people still there?) and are still conducting terrorizing raids on migrant workers and separating families by imprisoning them in detention centers, which are poorly-run by corporations as US govt.

These types of policies and practices also need to stop to increase our confidence that Obama is rejecting the Bush Administration's definitions of law and government.

I hope these rejections are realized by executive order before the prosecution issue is, because 8 years of bad was enough on 1/20/09.

Jonathan Turley did a valiant job in the face of a into-a-corner, projectile-spitting, point-counterpoint segment by moderator/accelerator Chris Hardball Matthews, with Pat

Buchanan tag-teaming along. Turley was able to talk fast enough, with clarity, over these two pit-bulls who are also "confused"...on purpose. Turley even had to say: "Pat, for the love of God! Let me finish!".

Obama needs to pass this entire issue on to the AG, who is required, not maybe required, but required to investigate and prosecute if war crimes were committed. He needs to let go of it and refer all questions to the AG.

And if Cheney and his daughter are speaking in opposition, it is either because they want to de-rail Obama on this (or his agenda) OR because they are scared...Because Darth Vader usually used silence to create fear. Now he won't shut up.

Dick Cheney spoke and the MSM followed: Now we are told that proof it works is available

even though it is not. The idea there is falsely legitimizes any pro-torture/pro-illegal stance.

Why are law-breakers (even if not impeached or arrested or tried) given the mic and the pen? Isn't that blurring our civil society's basic social norms? Tells the truth is Good. Lies/contempt of Congress is Bad.

Let's call for a good ole Shunning of Cheney, Rove, Bush et al. Let's see how far their shameless cheer-leading gets when they are socially cast out. This un-enhanced technique has been used since, gasp, biblical times...

To Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid: Thanks so much for not impeaching these criminals when it was your job to do so.

Which twin has the toni now?

Roseanne Barr talked about this concept in her comedy act 20 years ago. She talked about

"The 100 Year War" and that the only way it ended was for the women to unite in withholding sex until the war was stopped.

Wish I could remember her deadpan jokes...funny or not, if it works then Yay.

I suppose the next Teabagger trigger for misplaced anger will be Mexico, immigrants and the Swine Flu "pandemic" (Really?):

This would be the mutation from the "Pigs at the Trough" on Wall Street and in the Senate. Another distraction head-fake, brought to you by....?

Original article: Let war crimes be bygones

@R. Thompson: Well said. Mr. Keillor, I can't tell if you are super-intellectually spoofing

(several warps beyond your usual LWBGone level)us or not. Just one question:

Didn't your Mom or Dad ever tell you that if you don't stop a liar or a bully, then they will keep on lying or bullying? Because they can. Because you let it go.

You can avoid or hide, but it will affect you the rest of your life.

Joan, please don't be "grateful" to be asked back to the Hardball dance! Geez,

Matthews should be grateful for YOUR contributions. He takes advantage of you because you are grateful. Stop it, bitch slap him please!

Though, as you know, you risk The Stephanie Miller Silent Treatment...But Chris needs to review the tape and own up to his bullying of your position. He needs to know also that many of your readers are PO'd about his Steamroller performance and not for the first time. Dick Armey got a lot of time to offend you without a peep from Matthews.

Yeah, and Irish Tommy's FDNY on "Rescue Me" (now on Season 6) has a diverse group of firefighters, so tell

Chris Matthews to shove it. Denis Leary knows FDNY.

Original article: Bastardizing Bristol

How many people do you know, who have had sex, choose not to again? Not many

except maybe guilt-ridden nuns-to-be. I doubt priests at any stage ever give it up.

How many people do you know who have had unprotected sex, sweated through the 28 days, and then had unprotected sex again?

Or always practiced safe sex from thence forward?

So, did Bristol lose her sex drive and forget her prior experience? Is the Candies (Really?) contract that good? Is Levi that bad? Is Mommy too dearest?

Original article: Cheney lives on

What Would Hillary Do?

We are just wondering as 100 days of sort-of-straight-up-campaign-promised-Obama morphs closer and closer to the architects of the war on terror, which Sec. of State HRC said would no longer be used...but since Cheney speaks, Obama caves.

Once again, the electorate is irrelevant. No one is reporting our outrage.

Friday, May 15, 2009 07:55 AM

I Voted for Obama and all I got

was a lousy 100 days!

And

Transfer (highjack)of wealth from us to the top 1%

Union-busting

More war

Torture ambiguity (oxymoron)

Dick Cheney and Karl Rove still free to complain and rewrite history

Newsmedia that continues to pick and choose what to tell us (eg:NOT Senator Durbin's comment; al-libbi (sp) "suicide";DOJ's continued vendetta against Don Seligman...YES to Miss California nonsense and Sarah Palin book (oxymoron) deal)

I thought we the people were becoming irrelevant over the last 8 years. Now, my government is becoming irrelevant to me. Guess I'll give my house back to the bank.

Bill O'reilly should be charged as an accessory to this murder.

I am sick of the God people interfering in the rights of lawful citizens especially their right to attend their own church service without a Kevlar vest.

They really think they are better than anyone. They have succeeded in intimidating lawmakers and others in fouling the constitutional boundary between church and state.

They are terrorists. Arrest their asses and rendition them to an Islamic country. Or do whatever to make them stop their sick minds and actions.

Tuesday, June 2, 2009 06:33 PM

Time to go back...to the Deadly Sin series by Lawrence Sanders...the

audio versions...thoroughly chilling. The reader reads with just enough "off" to add to the thrill....There are at least 4 Deadly Sin titles...Enjoy your terror....Be-Wa-Ha-Ha-Haaaaah!
