@BobtheC...re: not attacked since 9/11

Do you really still buy the 4 really-bad-flight-students with box-cutters (1-2 inch blade)on 4 different planes on the same day avoiding normal detection checks @ 4 different airports and also dis-arming or confusing or stupefying 4 cities' air-traffic-control towers and NORAD and F-15s and ....Never done before, then or now, or ever. Not without help and fear and lotsa editing of what we saw.

Does Dick Cheney still fly? Now, if his plane was....

@Amity: Never been done before...

Everything after buy

all on the same day

Never done before, not then , not now.

That's what I meant.

Oh Goody! And we can all watch as she gets pregnant, that's good for 9 months...

and on and on.

The Bush and Cheney clans don't get that they have brought fear and loathing and shame to our country.Their genetics have been "in-bread" to produce 24/7 liars that can beat heart disease because they have no capacity for remorse or empathy.

Enough already! We need to find out who at the top of these TV and Newspaper corporations is directing this emulation of sociopathism. And out them! Let's see what their capacity for shame is! Shunning for shame was a very effective tool for the Puritans.

Do any of these people, "Anonymous", Woodward, Liz Cheney have any Security Clearance?

If not even the most basic rule of journalism, tell the story, is followed, then at least security clearances should apply, especially in Liz Cheney's case. How does she get to know anything she lies about?

Ed Schultz passionately tells it. Last week, Joe Klein appeared on the show. He seemed to be trying to soft-pedal Ed's concerns about "the public option", like he was sent to "settle Ed down". I noticed the same theme in "presentation" by several other Beltway guests...Big Ed was having none of it. He has the pulse of most Americans on this one.

Who started this? Who let it continue? Outrageous!

This idea should have been a no-debater. Teaching includes modeling proper respect for the Office of the Presidency of the U.S.!

Apparently "No Child Left Behind" has left the school building!

Do NYT Editors surveill blog pieces and make changes before print? The writer is taking things personally, ignoring the gist of many people's concerns: that corporate MSM is slanting news to fit a rightist agenda, which

a majority of Americans voted to be rid of!

The cases during Bush/Blair terms were few and hyped. The convicted trio could not have actually made a workable pop-bottle bomb. So this conviction is for show and for "feeling safe".

Someone earlier asked the best question: Where was this heralded legal or illegal kind of intelligence before 9/11?

You see, R.M. your informed readers are skeptical. Please keep this in mind if you are not expressing your own thoughts...if you are reporting. When posting.

These people are wonderful examples of intelligence and guts in the continuing atmosphere that questions people's patriotism...

way to step up! Let's all speak up!

Original article: In defense of ACORN

The people helped by ACORN need to call and write about their experience to counter this

Swiftboating.

Read the HuffPo piece by John Atlas (from August I think, just search. "ROVE vs. ACORN" reveals that the attorney-firing scandal, esp. re: David Iglesias, is the probable trigger for the GOP bleatathon against ACORN. What a surprise.

Fight back. Foment a Backfire on these screamers. Send money to ACORN. May help to Shut Rove down or at the least Shut him UP!

And let's not forget that Obama is a former "Community Organizer"...

Remember the GOP Convention sneer about that?

Original article: Wall Street buys Washington

"Capitalism is the extraordinary belief that the nastiest of men,

for the nastiest of reasons, will somehow work for the benefit of us all."

~John Maynard Keynes

CAPITALISM SUCKS

Mr. Winship needs to rewrite this piece so it is short and bullet-styled because there are SCLB (So(many)Child Left Behinds)that need this info beamed into their brains.

Blowjobs beat Lying and Killing and Stealing our Treasury...EVERY TIME! Say THAT to Chris Matthews, Joan,

and you can tag with "don't Steph Miller me, friend!" when he has a tantrum.

"Call them out" Joan, and all you frustrated journos! Just like Obama said.

Oh, right, he hasn't followed through yet. Why ever the hell not?

Do you ever get the feeling Michelle could write a book about this annoying personality quirk?

Reid needs to roll over Baucus. Yay Nance, Pelosi's got the House. Obama needs to use his power! Get some of "we the people" as advisors, not the insiders playing Capitol Hill Clue.

I don't care what Clinton did or did not. I care about NOW. A lot of people are hurting, another thing the MSM hasn't reported enough of...the economy and American lives are deeply changed.

Leave the EFFING NO-WAYers in the dust.

Good for Ayers!

Nice Save.

That's callin' 'em out with class and wit and damn! I like it!

What's the deal with Barney Frank? "The only thing they're going to be putting pressure on is the grass."

Really?

Also said marching is "a waste of time at best" and "an emotional release that does little to cause change." ~

Really?

Says we should call our representatives and have our friends do the same...Garsh, I hadn't realized that actually worked...

Really?

Maybe we should silently stand in place for a week, like we're waiting for tickets to the latest prequel to Star Wars...would disrupting the busy-ness of DC get their attention and move their asses?

Hey Barney...Really?

Monday, October 19, 2009 10:50 AM

I agree with CT. Sounds like your brain has a bad sunburn, at the very least, and

you keep going out into the sun.

Perhaps your usual way of dealing is to "get busy". Taking in so much information in so many venues (around the world, the dating scene, the wrong employer for you etc.)is keeping you in a burn unit.

You are "living at home". If that means going home to Mom and Dad, and they are good for you, then your instincts are not too damaged.

Stop being busy. Do one of Cary's suggestions at a time, with lots of white space in your planner.

You have asked for help, a sign of strength, and you clearly wish to survive.

Monday, October 26, 2009 07:03 AM

How does the NYT "turning" on Obama's policies relate to Obama's power struggle with FOX news?

Look at the words in the wind the past week: Cover-up...Nixonian...Enemies list...main-stream media...the cables...I am sure there are more.

Is there a Propaganda du jour being stirred?

WAY

to say it, Mr. Keillor. Here Here!

Original article: The real meaning of Stupak

Super article

All Stupak Wives and Mistresses and Down Lows should refuse to have Stupak Sex until the Stupak Democrats mow the Stupak Stupaks down with their ELECTED Majority Power.

It's Effen Stupakularly Stupak Stupak reps and sens 24/7. How did these people pass the 4th grade? Who is electing them?

Suffering Stupakotash.

And Obama just floats on by, because he lost his guts and his balls, so he is feather-light...There's testosterone for that, Mr. President. Geez, go snap some towels in the locker-room!

Original article: The real meaning of Stupak

Pro-life is really Forcing Motherhood

or Forcing Pregnancy or Forcing Delivery.

Forcing women to do anything in a "free country" is ugly and wrong.

How many Pro-Lifers support the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan?
