I don't agree

[Read more letters about this article: Here]I think it's probably getting a lot of laughs, because it's funny to watch someone with lots of public speaking experience flub something so horribly.
Plus, most humor is a little on the mean side.
The only thing that will elicit a laugh from anyone, in any culture is someone falling flat on their face. Now to the person falling flat on their face, that could have been painful or it could have been equally funny like whoops, I lost control of my limbs ha ha.
For instance, once, when drunk, I fell down some stairs, at first no one laughed because they weren't sure if I was injured, then I started giggling like a madman because I found it so hilarious that I had fallen down a flight of stairs and wasn't hurt, they felt free to join in the giggle fest and they still trot that story out years later as one of the funniest things they've ever seen.
I don't see a young woman with lots of practice speaking in public totally becoming tounge tied any different.
I think it's also why that news reporter also gets giggled at and there is a Soup clip of a non-white reporter saying Good Morning, Good Morning, everyone, Good Morning repeatedly live on air as a test pretty damn funny too.
So no, I don't think we are pointing and laughing because she's a pretty blonde, I think we are pointing and laughing becuase it's funny to watch people fuck up.
As for equality, I think we need male beauty pagents, why should women get money and scholarships for being pretty and blessed with a great body and not men! I want to see some hot dudes in bananna hammocks answering questions with answers like for the children and world peace!

[Read more letters about this article: Here]The exclusivity is becuase you are charged a monthly fee to be a Netflix customer. So if you are already paying 17 bucks a month for a minumum of 3 movies a month, why would we want to pay more on top of that to rent from another store. It's one of the reason's I haven't used Amazon & Tivo's unbox service yet, along with them not really having anything I need to watch right this minute and their 24 hours to watch it policy. I have a Mac, so that's the only thing that bothers me abotu the streaming movie thing, I can't stream but I don't like sitting at my computer to watch movies or shows anyway.
Netflix wouldn't be worth it if they charged me a rental fee for every movie I rented and I don't know if it would be profitable to them if people hang onto the same movie for a month, which I sheepishly admit I have done because I misplaced it and couldn't find it for a while.
True, it costs nothing to be a member of Blockbuster stores only or any other video rental store, but I really hate the return deals. By noon, by 7 pm. What if something comes up and I can't watch it that night and then I've got to pay the late fee just to watch the movie once.
Basically, the advantage of Netflix for me is that it takes absolutely no planning in advance to watch movies. I don't have to make a stop at the video store and decide what I want to see, I don't have to know if I'll have enough time to watch it that night or the next and I don't have to make a plan to bring the movie with me to work to be able to return it on my way home or get home and go damn, I've got to go back out to return the stinkin movie or I'll pay a late fee!
If the Netflix movie comes and I don't feel like watching it in a week, I'll return it put it on the bottom of my queue and get sent something I want to watch more.
