Warner/Obama 2008--It's called WINNING

Mark Warner was born in Indiana. Left the governorship of Virginia with a 70% favorable rating. Is a moderate. Would carry Virginia and a few other Red States. Obama would bring charisma and the ability to get out the liberal/minority vote. The contrast of a would be 72-yr. old McCain in 2008 and a Warner/Obama ticket would be striking(The past vs the future). Obama has said he wouldn't consider VP. I was a county co-ordinator for him in 2004. He would not turn his back on his party if Warner asked. Gore will not run. Who would Karl Rove choose for 2008? Hillary. What ticket would he fear most? Warner/Obama. Let's WIN for a change!

Pure Bush Shit

Bush and his crew care about only one thing-MONEY. Bin Laden is not money; only a way to get more of it for the fascists in OUR White House. While you pay $3.00+ for gas, do you support our occupation of Iraq?

Urban Myths of the Democratic Party

1. Is it true the Senate had to vote to defund the Iraq War? No, the Founding Fathers, who actually had spines, gave the power of the purse to the House. They could starve the beast.

2. Why did the Dem leadership cross the road? Chicken was on vacation.

3. Would a voter waste his vote on a third party? According to K St. lobbyists, there is only one major party. You could vote second party, though.

4. Can Democratic voters self-immolate? No, the party leadership will piss on them "big time".

5. What did Osama bin Laden say when the Dems "caved"? "Praise Allah"!

6. Is it true the donkey symbol for the Democratic Party has been replaced with a jellyfish? No, the Bush administration banned truth-in-advertising laws.

7. Can Bush order the arrest of all Democrats living in the United States? Sorry, there is a limit of six-questions per day.

Obama Compromises With Obama

I was a 2004 county coordinator for Obama. Barack spent his time in the Illinois Senate "reaching across the aisle". It worked well in Illinois, but the GOP that sits across the aisle in Washington isn't interested in compromises. I thought Illinois was sending Barack Obama to play in "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington II". Well, Jimmy Stewart was an actor who read a script. Barack's "script" says, "I will not filibuster anything." FISA, torture and the shredding of the Constitution are worthy of filibustering. Obama chooses to campaign in a script written by himself and himself. That's why you get two-different Obamas on a Saturday night, followed by MTP the next morning.

Cindy Dumps Loser John!

I see the future in a Drudge headline:"Cindy Dumps Loser John- In Bed With 25 yr. Old Stud." McCain exclaims, "The C**T kicked me out of all seven houses and her damn dog chewed-up my $520-shoes. I've had my last Budweiser." Rumor has it McCain is going back to Vietnam to search for a job in a clothing factory assembly line.

The Battle of Two-Pronouns

In Michael Moore's film, SICKO, a retired British Parlimentarian is asked why America still lacks universal health care. He replies that America is all about "ME", while they are about "WE". He also said that in America "The People" are afraid of their government, while in others, the reverse is true. The GOP represents the "ME", as Limbaugh's daily rantings to his bigoted white male audience of Dittoheads demonstrates.

I have been doing the following as a visual aid for my conservative friends. You're welcome to try it, too. On a piece of white paper print the pronoun "ME" in large letters and show it. I then say something like, "Is this what you are all about?" Then I turn the paper upside down, hand it to them and say, "Now hold it up to the LIGHT. What's it say now?" This works very well with Christians. Jesus is the Light & the Way for them. So, which pronoun describes your life?

The "Party of No" vs. The "Party of Can't"

Illinois Senator Dick Durbin recently said, "The banks own this Senate." As we watched Obama choose an economic team of the very insiders that helped create the disaster, cut a sweetheart deal with Big Pharma in secret after promising C-Span talk transparency, refuse to support holding the previous administration accountable for War Crimes and not even considering a Single Payer health plan, we can now conclude: Obama is also corporate owned. As I remove the rose tinted glasses, I see a Blue Dog Democrat leading a party that selected someone else last November. In 2010 Obama is asking progressives to choose between the "Party of No" and the "Party of Can't".
