I am loathe to defend George Bush on anything after the disaster that he has wraught on this country, but aren't there really more important things to worry about than his mis-statement to an octanagerian has been? This worthless old bat should have her titles, jewels, hats, and residences taken away and she should be sent packing. Maybe she could get a job as a cleaning lady. I find this American obsession with all things royal to be completly dumbfounding! Didn't we fight a war back in 1776 to rid ourselves of these despots?

Criticize Bush (with my full support) for his mis-handling of the economy, for the disastrous debacle in Iraq, for his corrupt cronies, for whatever. But please don't waste space on a stupid slip of the tongue at an event with a non-person who would be better served living in Cinderella's castle in Disneyland.

ok, let's deal with a little reality here. the troops in iraq are NOT protecting us from the evil terrorists; the troops are actually making the situation much much worse by the actions of the bush administration there. bush's misguided policies have inflamed the passion and hatred of more than a billion muslims against the west. amazing as it sounds, i think this was part of the intention: to create a holy war that would be the beginning of the end of days. ok -- maybe not. maybe it was just to maintain a secure (LOL!) oil supply because of the potential instability of the saudi regime. or maybe it was to pay off the giant multi-national corporations who funded bush/cheney's election(s).

anyway, osama bin laden is probably sitting in his cave somewhere (or more likely the rec room at the ranch in crawford with his feet up) wishing that he could be even half the terrorist that george bush is! i mean, if we simply do the numbers, osama is more or less responsible (as the titular head of the organization) for the cole, keny and tanzania embassies, 9/11, london subway, shoe bomber, madrid trains and maybe a couple of others i'm forgetting = several thousand dead. bush and his team of terrorists is responsible for about half a million dead in iraq, countless dead in afghanistan, and maybe some others i'm forgetting. hmmm...who's the bigger terrorist?

and i have to take issue with the retired military guy (whose posts i generally admire and agree with) about the failure of the democratIC congress. they could have and should have been calling every single neocon(artist) up to the hill to explain the faulty intelligence that led us into this mess! they could start with the architect and former world bank president paul wolfowitz and hold his feet to the fire while he tries to explain how this disaster came about! then go down the line even to cheney himself! there has to be accountability somewhere!

and you would probably chuckle to learn that my office is about a block away from the white house and i pass it all the time but i have to hold my nose to lower the stench of the two mass-murdering, scum-sucking war criminals bush and cheney.

and you keep alluding to the fact that we have to clean up the al qaida mess in iraq or they will come get us here. well here's something to put in your pipe and smoke: THERE WAS NO AL QAIDA IN IRAQ BEFORE THE UBER-IDIOT GEORGE BUSH DESTABILIZED THE COUNTRY TO SUCH AN EXTENT WITH HIS MISGUIDED INVASION THAT THEY WERE ABLE TO INFILTRATE AND FIGHT THE AMERICAN ARMY INTO A STALEMATE!!! they were in afghanistan where we should have stayed and finished the job of wiping them out instead of skipping like schoolgirls on crack into iraq.

finally, can someone please splain to me why it is WRONG for the islamo-fascists to murder 3,000 innocent people 9/11 but it's somehow ALL RIGHT for the american military to murder hundreds of thousands of innocent people in iraq??? sadly, the next time there is a 9/11 in the US it will be completely justified based on the actions of the bush administration.
