Oh Please, Of COURSE Powell is supporting Obama!

If we've learned one thing from the primaries, is that skin color is the most important thing to AA's.

Heck, even Condi is ready to vote Obama!

Original article: Say it ain't so, Joe!

How incredibly hypocritical

DEM Lieberman backs McCain, and he's a "traitor".

GOP Powell backs Obama, and he's a "great statesman".

No intellectual integrity required here at Salon!

Reading Comprehension not a strong suit of Obamatons

1) The cost of the clothing was reimbursed by the RNC, not the McCain campaign. No federal tax dollars were spent on clothing.

2) the election law is silent on national political committees paying for expenses such as these. No laws were broken. If she keeps the clothes, she has to declare the value of the items as "income" on her taxes.

3) She didn't go out and do the shopping herself, you halfwits; RNC staffers (more likely, that strategist's staffers) went out to the stores picking the clothes out. She was kinda busy during the Convention doing other things.

4) Anyone who thinks $2k is too much to spend for an outfit has apparently never been in a S5A before.

Wouldn't God win every state?

How can Obama do any less?

Barack is so much like Jesus Christ . . .

he even has his own religion starting-up here at Salon.

But instead of laying-hands on someone to heal them, he just has to give a speech.

"I highly doubt Mr. McCain even knows how to make a bed, let alone a hospital corner"

I'm surprised that some people are unaware that McCain was in the military. Um, he even went to Annapolis. (That's the US Naval Academy, for folks who haven't heard of it before).

In the military, they have these "inspections" of their quarters, which includes how well they make their bunk.

There's apparently quite alot of discipline instillied in the military. Duty Honor Country. Stuff like that.

"The fake-news shows are full of Obama jokes"

In what alternate universe is that happening?

Because the "TDS" and "CR" shows I watch, almost never mock Obama. And the few times that they do, I hear gasps and boos from the audience.

You can't make fun of people's god; it really pisses them off. Just like fanatical muslims, it seems.

Hmmm, what are the odds of Obama supporters flying airplanes into 30Rock if "SNL" really mocks President Obama one night? Instead of 70 virgins, would they get extra child tax credits in heaven?

It shouldn't be a news flash . . .

"Too many Democrats seem to think the first thing they should do when they get power is display contempt for their base"

But, a lot of us Democrats actually _have_ contempt for our base!

US Secretary of State!

Now, what's the line of succession, again?

I bet "food taster" will be a hot job in DC starting in Jan!

"making them non-competitive with places like Alabama, South Carolina or even Mexico and South Korea"

So no American worker should make more than minimum wage?

Nice country you wanna live in.

"Slash the benefits for the current and future retirees"

Stupid old people, believing that a contract would be honored!

They deserve to eat dog food for the rest of their lives!

"Meaning if they don't get government money, they will continue business as usual?"

Meaning, if they don'g get govt money, they go out of business entirely!

Pay attention!

We are soooo heading for an economic depression

But, a lot of folks made a lot of money from the Depression of the '30s, so it might be fun!

When unemployment goes up to 15% nationwide, 30% in the Midwest, there'll be lots of opportunities to hire folks at minimum wage!

It should solve our illegal immigrant problem; we'll be able to afford US Citizens as bus boys, car wash attendents, and nannies for $100 a week.

We're the US! We don't need no stinkin' middle class!

Groping a Hillary cardboard cut-out?

At least he didn't give it a facial.

Save that for the Sarah Palin cut-outs.

The Senators from BMW, Honda, and Toyota want GM to go out of business

They're just representing their constituents.

Hundreds of Thousands of unemployed UAW workers scrambling for jobs that they're skilled-at will head down to work at non-union auto plants in the South.

That glut of skilled labor will drive down wages for the workers already there.

Again, the Senators who represent the Foreign Car makers are just doing what they're paid to do.

More evil BS from Gary

But if Barry Bonds was Isreali, Gary would loooove them!

Original article: The Israel rules

The pragmatic thing for Obama to do . . .

would be to order the US Military to join Hamas in the destruction of Israel.

It would be easy to pull-out all troops from Iraq, and sweep across Israel. After a long and effective bombing campaign of populated Israeli cities, of course. Our attack aircraft are much more effective than Hamas' cheap little unguided rockets; they have _no_ idea who they're gonna kill when they fire them.

And by joining Hamas, we could even finally deplete our inventory of 'dumb bombs', since we'd be going for maximum Israeli casualties.

So, if the US would just do what the Arabs haven't been able to do for the last 60 years - and kill all the Jews - that would do more to raise America's standing in the world than anything else he could do.

In addition to bringing joy to so many of Obama's supporters. Joining the terrorists is easier than fighting them!

How many US citizens are in prison with life-without-parole?

And how many of them have commited suicide, in the last ten years, let's say?

Was it constitutional to detain German soldiers as POWs during WWII?

Just asking . . .
